The 21st century is developing into an era of culture past the information age of the 20th century, and with growing interest in improving the quality of life, attention is being paid to creativity for cultural enjoyment. In order to improve the quality of life like this, the interaction of the convergence and convergence culture that combines and fuses various existing things to derive new results has been attempted in various fields. Convergence is a compound word of “convergence” and “complex,” meaning that various technologies or functions are fused or combined into one, creating something new rather than the existing one. In addition to science, technology, education, as well as art, music, literature, theater, film, and dance, convergence and convergence are taking place in various fields. Among the convergence phenomena occurring in various fields due to the trend of the 21st century, we will focus on the convergence of the performing arts field, which is the field of activity of this researcher, to examine and summarize the literary research status of the Korean convergence performing arts at a glance. The research subjects related to the research subjects of this study were looked at mainly books, degree papers (a master's degree, doctoral dissertation), and academic papers on domestic convergence performing arts. The research was divided into annual and field-specific statuses, and the table was compiled to give a glimpse of the current state of domestic research of convergence performing arts. In addition, related keywords were extracted to derive what convergence performing arts pursued. The annual status of domestic convergence performing arts research began in 2011, and the current status of each field was being conducted in the fields of dance education, dance, Korean traditional music, and theater, and there were not many papers published every year. Theoretical research and records will be valuable materials as convergence performances are continuously being made at the performance site. The purpose of this research is to help research on the cultural paradigm and direction of aesthetic development in the 4th industrial era by examining the scope and level of convergence performing arts in Korea as of 2020 through the domestic research status of convergence performing arts.

21세기는 20세기의 정보화 시대를 지나 문화의 시대로 발전하고 있으며, 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위한 것에 관심이 높아지면서 문화 향유를 위한 창조성에 주목하고 있다. 이처럼 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해 기존의 다양한 것들을 합치고 융합하여 새로운 결과물들을 도출해 내는 융·복합(融復合) 문화의 상호작 용이 여러 분야에서 다각적으로 시도되고 있다. 융·복합은 “융합”과 “복합”이 합성되어진 말로 여러 성 능과 기술이 하나로 합쳐져 융합되어 새로운 무언가를 창출해낸다는 뜻이다. 과학, 기술, 교육뿐만 아니 라 미술, 음악, 문학, 연극, 영화, 무용 등 예술계에서도 융·복합 현상이 전 방위에 걸쳐서 다양하게 일 어나고 있다. 21세기의 시대적 흐름으로 여러 분야에서 일어나고 있는 융·복합 현상들 중에서 본 연구 자의 활동분야인 공연예술 분야의 융·복합 현상에 특별히 초점을 맞추어 국내 융·복합 공연예술의 문 헌적 연구현황에 대하여 살펴보고 한 눈에 정리하고자 한다. 본 연구의 연구주제와 관련된 연구의 검색 대상으로 국내 융·복합 공연예술에 관한 단행본, 석,박사 학위논문, 학술논문을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 연도별 현황과 분야별 현황으로 나뉘어 연구되었으며, 표로 정리하여 융·복합 공연예술의 국내 연구현 황을 한 눈에 볼 수 있게 하였다. 또한 관련 키워드를 추출하여 융·복합 공연예술이 추구하는 바를 도 출해 내었다. 국내 융·복합 공연예술 연구의 연도별 현황은 2011년에 시작되었으며, 분야별 연구 현황 은 무용교육, 무용, 국악, 연극 분야에서 이루어지고 있었고, 매년 발표되는 논문의 수는 많지 않았다. 공 연현장에서는 융·복합 공연들이 지속적으로 만들어지고 있는 만큼 이론적 연구와 기록은 소중한 자료 가 될 것이다. 이 연구는 융·복합 공연예술의 국내 연구현황을 통해 2020년 현재 국내 융·복합 공연예 술의 범위와 층위를 살펴보고, 발전과정과 향후 나아갈 방향을 파악하여 4차 산업시대의 문화적 패러다 임과 공연예술에 대한 미학적 발전의 방향성을 위한 연구에 도움이 되는 것을 목적으로 한다.
