The transport structure plays an important role in the efficient operation of the integrated transport system. The efficiency of the transport system affects the socio-economic development. Therefore, the research on the transport structure is very important. This paper analyzes the traffic structure and suggests the optimization of traffic structure in China. This paper puts forward the evaluation method and rule of rationalization of transportation structure, analyzes the present situation of domestic transportation structure, and points out the problems of transportation structure by means of evaluation method. The government should do a good job in macroeconomic regulation and control the direction of flow for development of domestic transportation in the future.
