A Study on the Relationship between Compensation and Labor Productivity : Focused on Port Logistics Industry

The object of this study is prove how reward system which is used as means of motivation for employee has affect on labor productivity of container terminal. Especially, when various personnel management systems in each company is acted as control variable, how affect on labor productivity is analysised. Result of this study shows that much satisfaction rate of personnel management system such as welfare, promotion, shift system rather than momerary compensation is higher, much labor productivity is higher. Therfore how plan and operate personnel management systems(including welfare) that each employee is will be satisfacted is major theme for improve of labor productivity for container terminal.
