In this paper, we analyzed the types of Korean language education in Chinese universities and also explained the problems of that. Korean language education at Chinese universities is divided into major education and non-major education. Korean language major education has slowed down since 2009 and some universities even canceled the Korean major in 2018. There are many reasons for the slow development of Korean language departments, but the biggest one is the employment rate, which is not high. The reason for the low employment rate in the Korean major was analyzed and solutions were also given in this paper. Korean as a general elective course has a large number of students and is easy to open, but the problem is that there are not enough class hours. Korean as a second foreign language can provide students with a relatively long period to study Korean systematically, but there are still problems with a single curriculum and low expected results of education. As the development of Korean language major education has become slow, the development of Korean studies has also encountered a bottleneck. In order to solve this problem, this article proposes a model of Korean Education with a minor course. This model can be implemented in many universities, so it can provide a large number of students with opportunities to learn Korean, and can look forward to tapping potential Korean talents.

본고는 중국 4년제 대학에서의 한국어 교육을 유형별로 분석하고 각각의 문제점을 논의하 였다. 그리고 한국어 인재를 양성할 수 있는 ‘한국어 부전공 융합 교육 모델’도 제시하였다. 한국어 전공 교육은 2009년부터 발전의 속도가 느려지기 시작했고 2018년에 폐과가 나타 났으며 현재에 큰 어려움을 겪고 있다. 한국어 전공 교육의 발전 속도가 느린 것은 여러 원인 이 있겠지만 그 중에서 높지 않은 취업률이 제일 큰 문제다. 본고에서는 한국어학과의 취업률 이 낮은 원인을 분석하고 해결방안도 함께 제시하였다. 교양 한국어 교육은 수강 인원이 많고 개설하기 쉽지만 연계과목 개설, 수업시수 등 여러 문제도 있다. 제2외국어로서의 한국어 교육은 상대적으로 긴 시간 동안 체계적으로 한국어를 공부하는 기회를 제공하지만 교과과정 단일, 교육결과의 실용성 부족 등 문제도 안고 있다. 한국어 전공 교육의 발전이 둔화되면서 언어적으로의 한국학 발전도 지체기를 맞이하였다. 이를 해결하기 위해 본고는 ‘한국어 부전공 융합 교육 모델’을 제시하였다. 이 교육 모델은 많 은 대학에서 실시될 수 있으므로 수많은 학생들에게 한국어를 접하는 기회를 제공해 주고 한 국어 잠재 인재를 발굴하는 기대효과도 있다.
