In the rapidly changing social environment such as low birth rate and aging, family solidarity and support, which are the basic social components, are important factors for self-formation and self-realization of youth. In order to reestablish family education that has been broken down by isolation and disconnection between families, the promotion of attachment between parents and children should be given priority. This paper is to investigate the effect of family unit service learning on adolescents' parental attachment. To this end, for 250 middle school students who applied for participation with their parents in the youth volunteer learning program hosted by the volunteer forum located in S City, the change in the attachment relationship of the youth to their parents before and after participating in the family unit volunteer learning program was measured. As a measurement tool, the Inventory of Parent Attachment (IPA), manufactured by Armsden and Greenberg, was used. As a result of paired t-test analysis, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference across communication and alienation factors. In other words, it can be said that the effectiveness of family unit service learning has been proven to restore the relationship between parents and children by increasing the degree of attachment of youth to parents after participating in family unit service learning. In order to promote better effectiveness in the future, it is necessary to develop and disseminate a family unit service learning program at the educational level of holistic experience.

저출산 고령화 등 급변하는 최근 사회 환경에서 사회적 기본구성인 가족의 연대와 지지는 청소 년들의 자아형성과 자기실현에 중요한 요소이다. 가족 간의 고립과 단절로 인하여 무너진 가정교육 을 재정립하기 위해서는 부모와 자녀간의 애착 증진이 우선되어야 한다. 본 논문은 가족단위 봉사 학습이 청소년의 부모애착에 미치는 효과를 분석함을 목적으로 한다. 연구를 위해 S시 자원봉사포 럼이 주최한 가족단위봉사학습프로그램에 부모와 함께 참여를 신청한 중학생 250명을 대상으로 활 동 전 후의 청소년의 부모에 대한 애착관계의 변화를 측정하였다. 측정도구로는 Armsden과 Greenberg가 제작한 부모 애착척도(Inventory of Parent Attachment: IPA)를 사용하였으며, 분석방법으 로는 대응표본 t 검정을 실시하였다. 분석결과 의사소통과 소외감 요인 전체에 걸쳐 통계적으로 유 의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 즉 가족단위 봉사학습 참여 후 청소년의 부모에 대한 애착 정도가 증진되어 부모와 자녀간의 관계성 회복에 가족단위 봉사학습의 효과성이 입증되었다고 할 수 있다. 향후 보다 나은 효과성 증진을 위해 홀리스틱 경험 교육적 차원의 가족단위봉사학습프로 그램의 개발 및 보급이 필요하다.
