In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the start-up has become a new value. As the importance of entrepreneurship education continues to increase in promoting entrepreneurship, it is necessary to have an academic status. The purpose of this study is to establish a theoretical concept of whether to secure the area of entrepreneurship education through holistic approach. The research method was literature research method and content analysis method, and the literature related to domestic and foreign start-up and start-up education was analyzed. The main contents of this study are the concept of start-up and start-up education from a holistic perspective, the components, the system of start-up education, and the educational model. As a result, the concept of balance, linkage and integration pursued by hollistic education was the same as the educational orientation value of entrepreneurship education, and it was analyzed that it could enhance the academic status as entrepreneurship education.In other words, entrepreneurship education showed the possibility of expanding the academic field as a field of pedagogy through a holistic approach that enables the cultivation of creative and convergent talents required by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

제4차 산업혁명 시대 창업은 새로운 가치로 자리매김하고 있다. 창업을 추진함에 있어 창업교육 의 중요성은 지속적으로 증가되고 있는 만큼 학문적 위상을 갖출 필요가 있다. 이 연구는 홀리스틱 적 접근을 통하여 창업교육학의 영역을 확보할 수 있을지에 대한 이론적 개념을 확립하는데 목적 을 두었다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌연구법, 내용분석법을 사용하여 국내외 창업과 창업교육 관련 문헌 을 분석하였다. 주요 연구내용은 홀리스틱적 관점에서 창업과 창업교육의 개념, 구성요소와 창업교 육의 체계 및 교육모델을 구상하였다. 그 결과 홀리스틱교육이 추구하는 균형, 연계, 통합의 개념이 창업교육의 교육적 지향 가치와 동일하였으며, 창업교육학으로서의 학문적 위상을 제고할 수 있는 것으로 분석하였다. 즉, 창업교육은 4차 산업혁명이 요구하는 창의융합적 인재 양성을 가능하게 하는 홀리스틱적 접근을 통하여 교육학의 한 분야로서 학문적 영역을 확장할 수 있는 가능성을 보여 주었다.
