The study revealed the history of regular match between Sookmyung Women's University and Ewha Womans University, which were called "Sukijeon" or "Lee Sookjeon," through literature surveys and interviews, and concluded as follows. First, the match between the two universities began in 1965 when the first Women's University Friendship Basketball Tournament hosted by the Seoul Newspaper was held at Jangchung Gymnasium in preparation for the organization of the Women's University Basketball Federation. Second, Sukijeon, which was revived again in 1981, was mainly played in basketball, volleyball, and tennis by professors and faculty. It recruited students as a college amateur, but was not recognized by the public as it ended in a second round, failing to escape the isolation of physical education and college. Third, the match between the two universities instilled a spirit of love for sports among the female college students at that time, although its continuity and scale were minimal. Sukijeon is the only match in women's universities, and it has great significance in women's sports.
