[Purpose] This study was to investigate the influence of ebbinghaus illusion training on beginner golfer’s putting perception-action control. [Method] A total of 18 participants were randomly assigned to one of three groups: perceived large hole group, perceived small hole group, and control group. The 2m putting task was to keep the ball closer to the target. The illusionary target was visually presented by beam projector, suspended from the ceiling. The experiment was conducted in the order of pre-test, practice blocks, and retention test. The perception size of hole, putting task, and self-efficacy were selected for dependent variables. [Result] The perceived size of hole was significantly different among groups over the practice block as well as retention test (without illusion). The self-efficacy of golf putting task were mostly increased in the perceived large hole group, which led to enhance the putting performance. [Conclusion] The beginner golfers seems to interact learning process with perception-action coupling procedure, therefore the putting performance and self-efficacy had a positive learning effect.

[목적] 본 연구는 에빙하우스 착시 훈련이 초보 골퍼의 퍼팅 학습 과정과 지각-동작 제어에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 데 목적이 있다. [방법] 훈련집단은 확대착시집단, 축소착시집단, 통제집단으로 구분하여 각각 6명씩 무작위로 할당 되었다. 실험 과제는 2m 거리의 가상 홀컵을 향해 공을 근접시키는 골프 퍼팅 과제이며, 훈련집단에 따른 착시 조건 은 빔프로젝터를 통해 제시되었다. 실험은 사전검사, 습득단계, 파지검사의 순으로 진행되었으며, 측정 변인은 홀컵 크기 지각, 퍼팅 정확성, 그리고 성공 기대감으로 선정하였다. [결과] 확대착시훈련 집단이 홀컵을 가장 크게 지각하 였으며, 이는 착시 조건을 제외한 파지검사에서 더욱 명확하게 나타났다. 성공 기대감은 홀컵을 크게 지각하도록 유 도한 확대착시훈련 집단에서 가장 높게 나타났으며 퍼팅 수행력 또한 우수하게 향상되었다. [결론] 에빙하우스 착시 훈련은 초보 골퍼의 퍼팅 학습 과정에서 지각-동작 연합 과정으로 작용하였으며 성공 기대감과 퍼팅 수행력에 긍정 적인 영향을 미치게 되었다.
