This paper is for proposing a concept of 'social learning net', which is the support system of lifelong learning for all. I examine several theories and practices related with the concept. These included Illich and Reimer's early arguments for deschooling society and learning web, learning society as a condition for lifelong education, and recent movements for learning communities. All of these are necessary, but not sufficient conditions for lifelong learning for all. Social learning net is the most active notion that is guarantee learning for all. It has multiple dimensions and strata, so everybody must be caught in the net for learning. School system has been evolving to educational system, and I argue that the system should move forward to social learning net. Finally, I suggest several core tasks to build social learning net.
