당대(當代)의 다원화된 사회문화 환경 속에서 공필화조화 화가들의 심미(審美) 방식과 감정의정은 이전에 비해 비교적 큰 변화를 가져왔다. 이러한 변화는 화가들로 하여금 창작과정에 끊임없이 노력하여 새로운 예술표현 언어를 탐색하게 함으로써 현 대인들의 심미적 요구를 만족시킨다. 따라서 살결(肌理) 표현형식이 당대 공필화조화 가와 관중들에 의해 접수되고 감상, 심지어 추앙되고 있는 것은 결코 우연이 아니다. 당대 공필화조화는 풍부하고 넓은 전통예술을 기초로 기타 회화의 종류에서 살결(肌 理)기법의 운용을 적극 활용함으로써 당대 공필화조화가 전통회화 이념과 판이한 새로 운 모습을 보여주도록 힘쓰고 있다. 현재의 공필화조화 분야에서 전통적인 회화방식은 이미 유일한 선택이 아니다. 당대(當代) 공필화가들은 다양한 각도에서 예술적인 표현을 끊임없이 탐구하였다. 공 필화조화는 살결(肌理) 기법에 대한 탐색과 실천이 풍격이 되었으며 또한 일부 예술가 들의 독특한 예술풍격을 성공적으로 형상화하였다. 살결(肌理) 기법 자체의 다변성과 풍부성은 끊임없이 전통 그림의 한계를 타파하고 있다. 본 연구는 전통적인 공필화조화 절차화한 기법과 당대(當代) 공필화조화의 살결 (肌理) 기법을 비교한다. 그리고 살결(肌理) 기법이 당대(當代)의 공필화조화에서 성 행하게 된 배경, 원인, 존재의 다양성 및 산생된 문제 결합하여 종합 4개 부분으로 이 기법에 당대(當代) 공필화조화에서 생긴 예술적 표현에 대한 상세한 논술한다. 1. 우선 살결(肌理) 기법의 개념, 분류 그리고 예술적 표현가치 등을 통해 화면 속에 살결(肌理)에 대해 과학적인 설명을 상세하게 하였다. 그다음 살결(肌理) 기법이 역대의 공필화조화에서 운용된 것을 설명하였다. 2. 살결(肌理) 기법이 당대 공필화조화에서 나타난 원인을 구체적으로 분석하였 으며 이 회화분야의 살결(肌理) 기법의 창작을 종이의 제작, 특수도구의 사용 및 특수 재료의 응용 등 세 가지 층면으로 나누어 구체적인 실례와 연구를 진행하였다. 3. 살결(肌理) 기법이 공필화조화에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 거기에 존재하는 문제를 찾아내려 시도하였으며 살결(肌理) 기법은 다만 회화표현의 수단일 뿐만 아니 라 공필화조화 자체의 본질적인 특징을 잃지 말아야 한다고 지적하였다. 4. 창작실천에 결합하여 당대(當代) 공필화조화에서의 창작의 시사점을 천명하 였다.
