The two words “dou” and “quan” are used rather frequently and it is easy to make mistakes for foreign students. The two words are supposed to have lots of meanings, and also similar meanings and functions. We do have lots of synonymous words, so we pick synonymous adverbs “dou” and “quan” as study objects. Through studying on the two words we would like to provide reference for teaching Chinese as a foreign language. This paper is going to involve a number of Chinese corpus and inter language corpus, studying on learning condition of foreign students, and their wrong types. Furthermore the root of errors are trying to be concluded and we finally put up with suggestions for related teaching. In the beginning it will be explained, why the topic has been chosen. The main part deals with the research summary based on ontological study and the teaching process of “dou” and “quan” will be discussed. In this article the focus is on the analysis of synonymous adverbs errors. The occurring errors are divided into four types: miss, wrongly use, wrongly add, wrong order. Combined with corpora and focus on wrongly used error “dou” and “quan”.
