Abbas Kiarostami, a representative of Iranian directors, had created many films of children's consciousness. By capturing the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature, his whole works presented an unsophisticated style and focused on finding and appreciating the philosophy of life slowly in the most ordinary life. Moreover, the films made us feel the peace and tranquility in this noisy world through the most simple acts of the smallest characters and the most primitive kindness of human nature. Therefore, we can feel the truth, goodness and beauty of human nature in these children's films that the Director Abbas wanted to convey to us. Abbas Kiarostami has been considered as a flag bearer in the development of contemporary Iranian film industry. By Summing up the unique features of his films, the author will conclude the reasons why Abbas Kiarostami's films made a huge impact. Hopefully, this dissertation will provide some beneficial effects for Chinese film industry.
