The purpose of this study is to present countermeasures for the church of the next generation in view of the unimaginable innovation in human society trigger by Artificial Intelligence that emerges as the core of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era. With Artificial Intelligence creating creative information on its own, the church should also urgently prepare for it. This study aims to provide and prepare for a new pastoral paradigm with an outlook for the future church to critically analyze and engage in the Artificial Intelligence that even takes the place of preaching. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is expected to be faster and more innovative than any other Revolution in the past, which we have experienced. The three big technologies that will lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution are: the Technology of Physics, Digital Technology and Biology. These technologies signal that over time it will permeate every object, industry and country and will require innovative and comprehensive changes throughout humankind. AI robots have gone beyond industrial or service robots. They are being developed into emotional robots that can communicate and share emotions with humans. We are moving toward an era of coexistence in which humanoid or human robots and humans live together. Social consensus for good robots along with Christian and ethical programs are urgently required. A survey on the use of AI robots has been conducted to examine the awareness of Christians and the public. The total of 601(six hundred and one) respondents were analyzed. The respondents of future generation in their teens and 20s were studied and the views of lay believers and pastors were analyzed by separating their positions. In particular, the analysis of responses from younger generations and pastors is expected to have a significant impact on future churches. The measures for the use of Artificial Intelligence in church were examined in a positive aspect. First, this study considered what is available in the area of worship and church education. Specifically, it will help to understand how it could be applied through a hypothetical scenario in which an AI robot guides the worship service at a deathbed. In addition, it suggested the need for research and investment to utilized Artificial Intelligence and stressed the need to create a good robot with Christian ethics on it by establishing future church trends and developing programs to be mounted on AI robots. Now the church must prepare for the future. We should look at the age of Super-Artificial Intelligence in a positive light and prepare for it. We should prepare for future church trends, establish big data for Christianity and spur the development of programs to be installed in Artificial Intelligence. A positive and active attitude toward the Fourth Industrial Revolution and Artificial Intelligence will rather be a new opportunity for the expansion of the gospel.

본 연구의 목적은 제4차 산업혁명(The Fourth Industrial Revolution)1)의 핵심으 로 떠오른 ‘인공지능(Artificial Intelligence)’이 인류사회에 상상할 수 없는 혁신을 불 러올 것으로 전망하면서 인공지능(AI)2)에 대한 미래교회의 실험적 대응방안을 제시함 에 있다. 본 연구는 제4차 산업혁명을 이끄는 세 가지의 큰 기술인 물리학(Physical), 디지털(Digital), 생물학(Biological)의 융합으로 가장 큰 영향을 미칠 인공지능과 그 기 술적 특이점(Technological singularity)의 영향을 살펴보았다. 인공지능 기술이 발전하 여 인간의 지능을 뛰어넘는 기준점인 특이점은 인간의 육체적, 정신적 구조를 급격히 바꾸는 결과를 가져 올 것으로 전망되므로, 그에 대한 신학적·철학적인 이해와 윤리적 합의의 필요성도 연구해 보았다. 인공지능의 기술은 이미 산업용 로봇의 단계를 넘어 인간과 감정을 나누는 감성 로봇으로 발전하고 있으며, 휴머노이드와 인간의 공존의 시대로 나아가고 있음을 제시하였다. 설문조사(601명)를 통하여 교회에서 인공지능 로 봇의 활용에 대한 일반적인 관심과 영적인 관심을 분석하였으며, 결과에 따른 미래교 회의 활용성을 연구하였다. 구체적으로 미래교회에서는 예배와 교육적인 부분에서 어 떻게 활용이 가능한지 실험적인 가상 시나리오를 제시함으로 그 이해를 도왔다. 시나 리오는 임종예배를 인도하는 로봇을 1인칭 시점으로 작성하고, 임종을 맞이하는 임종 자를 1인칭 시점으로 작성하였다. 또한 인공지능 로봇과 실감나게 성경 공부하는 가상 현실 체험 시나리오를 작성하였다. 또한 미래교회 디지털 트랜스포메이션 제안을 통해 교회의 모든 사역과 구조가 디지털화를 이루어야 하며, 인공지능 로봇에 탑재할 프로 그램 개발을 통하여 기독교 윤리를 담은 착한 로봇을 만들어야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 미래이슈와 미래교회 네트워크를 제안하였으며, 제4차 산업혁명과 인공지능을 긍정적 으로 수용하여 복음 확장에 새로운 기회로 삼아야 함을 제안하였다.
