This study is aimed to analyze how cultural branding of interpretive dance work affects the popularization of dance, ultimately for the empirical contribution to the development of Korean-Style interpretive dance and its popularization. The total number of 370 dance-major students from universities locating in Seoul and Gyeonggi participates in the survey. By using Window SPSS 24.0, a variety of analysis is carried out such as frequency analysis, reliability test, factor analysis, etc. One-way ANOVA, correlation anaylsys, and multiple regression analysis are also conducted. Our research finding indicates repertoire as a sub-factor of cultural branding has a correlation with the popularization accessibility and popularization recognition. Also, planning and specialization has a correlation with the popularization accessibility but no correlation with the popularization recognition. Furthermore, repertoire has a positive impact on the popularization accessibility whereas planning and specialization does not have any impact on the popularization accessibility. Finally repertoire positively affects the popularization recognition while planning and specialization does not.

이 연구의 목적은 창작무용작품의 문화브랜드가 무용대중화에 미치는 영향을 규명 하여 한국적 창작무용의 발전과 대중화에 실증적으로 기여하는 데 있다. 연구대상은 서울․경기 지역에 소재한 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 무용전공 대학생 및 대학원생으 로 총 370명의 자료를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 자료처리는 Window SPSS 24.0을 사용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도, 요인분석, 일원변량분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시 하였다. 이 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화브랜드의 하위요인인 레퍼토리는 대중화접근성과 대중화인식성에 상관 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 기획 및 전문성은 대중화접근성에 상관관계가 있 는 것으로 나타났으나, 대중화인식성은 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 창작무용작품의 문화브랜드 하위요인 중 레퍼토리는 대중화접근성에 긍정적 인 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 기획 및 전문성은 대중화접근성에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으 로 나타났다. 셋째, 창작무용작품의 문화브랜드 하위요인 중 레퍼토리는 대중화인식성에 긍정적 인 영향을 미쳤다. 그러나 기획 및 전문성은 대중화인식성에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으 로 나타났다.
