Using the Panel Study on Multi-cultural Adolescent Panel Survey(MAPS), we investigated the effect of social support, depression, and social withdrawal on victimization of school violence. The results were as follows: First, victimization of school violence was found to be strongly influenced by degree of friend support. Second, parent and friend support were found to be strongly influenced by degree of depression. In addition teacher support had a significant influence on improving the depression. Third, social withdrawal was found to be strongly influenced by degree of friend support. And teacher support had a significant influence on improving the social withdrawal. Fourth, depression had a strongly influence on improving social withdrawal and victimization of school violence. In addition it was identified that parent and friend support not directly relate to social withdrawal. On the basis of the results of the analysis, this study discusses the ways to reduce school violence victimization of multicultural students.

본 연구는 국내 거주 다문화청소년이 지각하는 사회적지지가 우울과 사회적 위축을 매개로 학교폭력 피해경험에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 “다문화청소년패널조사(MAPS: Multi-cultural Adolescent PanelSurvey)” 6차년도 자료를 활용하여 구조방정식모형 분석을 실시하였다. 아울러 사회적지지와 우울, 사회적위축, 학교폭력 피해경험에 남녀차이가 있다고 보고된 바, 남녀 성을 조절변수로 투입하여 차이를 확인하였다. 주요 분석결과는 첫째, 다문화청소년의 학교폭력 피해경험에 친구지지의 강력한 영향력이 확인되었다. 둘째, 사회적위축에 친구지지의 강력한 영향력이 확인되었으며, 교사지지의 유의미한 영향력이 확인되었다. 셋째, 우울에 친구지지 부모지지는 강력한 영향력을 발휘했으며, 교사지지 또한 유의미한 영향력을 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 넷째, 우울은 학교폭력 피해와 사회적 위축에 강력한 영향력을 발휘하는 것을 확인되었으며, 부모지지와 친구지지가 사회적 위축으로 가는 경로에서 직접적인 영향력보다 우울을 통한 간접적인 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 부모지지가 우울로 가는 경로, 교사지지가 우울로 가는 경로, 우울이 사회적 위축으로 가는 경로와 우울이 학교폭력으로 가는 경로에서 남녀차이가 확인되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 다문화청소년의 학교폭력 피해에 대한 대책과 방안을 논의하였다.
