This This study aimed to investigate sports community of Korean Residents in Japan from Korean War in June of 1950 to just before the treaty between Korea and Japan in 1965. Life and society of Korean Residents in Japan were faltering with Korean War(June 25th, 1950). On the other hand, war material production had a boom in Japan and Japanese society could have the recovery and reconstruction of economy during Korean War. The society of Korean Residents in Japan started to strengthen the relationship with South and North Korea and began to have reconstruction of national association when ceasefire system started. The sports community of Korean Residents in Japan developed rapidly for reconstruction. From postwar to Korean War in June, 25th of 1950, it was the beginning of sports community of Korean Residents in Japan. And from 1950 to 1965 when basic treaty between Korea and Japan was done. This period was explaned that there were so many changes in sports community by organizing with strong national association and Japanese society started to have high growth. This study reviews sports organization and action of Korean Residents in Japan based on studies related to their sports. With this review, it is investigated how sports community of Korean Residents in Japan is related to Japanese society and how it is developed with relationship with South and North Korea.

이 글은 1950년부터 1965년 한일조약 체결 직전까지 ‘재일조선인’의 스포츠 커뮤니티를 살펴보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 한국전쟁 발발(1950.6.25)과 함께 ‘재일 조선인’의 삶과 사회는 크게 흔들렸다. 그러나 한반도 전쟁으로 인해 일본사회는 전쟁물자 생산과 특별한 호황이 불었고 경제재건과 회복의 계기를 마련했다. 전 쟁이 휴전체제로 돌입하자 이때부터 재일조선인사회는 남북한과의 연계를 강화 하며 민족단체의 조직 재건에 돌입했다. 이러한 추세 속에 재일조선인 스포츠커 뮤니티 재건도 빠르게 전개되었다. ‘전후’로부터 1950년 6.25한국전쟁 직전까지가 재일조선인 스포츠커뮤니티의 기원 형성의 시기였다면, 1950년부터 한일기본조약 이 체결되는 1965년까지는 일본사회가 고도성장기로 진입하며 재일조선인 스포 츠커뮤니티 또한 강한 모국지향성을 가진 민족단체의 등장과 함께 조직화되는 변 화의 시기였다. 이 글에서는 총련계와 민단계에서 작성한 재일조선인들의 스포츠 관련 사료를 바탕으로 재일조선인들의 스포츠조직과 활동을 재구성하고, 이를 토 대로 재일조선인 스포츠커뮤니티가 일본사회와 어떻게 연계되었고 남과 북과는 어떤 연관을 맺으며 전개되었는지를 살펴보고자 했다.
