The purpose of this study is based on the theory of Heinz Kohut on the Christian counseling study on the self-structure recovery of a depressed counselee. To this end, The unique self-structure and the elements of the recovery of the self-structure of a depression counselee based on Kohut's theory were explored. The results of the study are as follows. A depressed counselee has a negative bias and disproportionate self-structure, with differences in the amount and quality of positive and negative self-information. At the same time, there is no realistic assessment of the excessively ideal self-information. Kohut explains in-depth the self-structure of a depressed counselee, the lack of aspirations and ideals, and the desire and purpose of a depressor's life, the loss of goals, and low self-esteem. At the same time, it also states that the decline in the ability to set realistic goals, maintain self-esteem, and run one's self-relief with healthy ideals is also immaturity of self-love. Explaining the lack of realistic sense due to excessive idealization of self-image and others, and the internalization of insufficient self-object experience, the pathological self-structure of the depressor was explained. From a biblical point of view of Kohut's study of self-structure, this study looked at self-structure based on existential identity, the core of biblical self-structure, and the location and characteristics of self-structure on the aspirations and ideals of life mentioned by Kohut. Kohut gives important insights into the self-structure of a depressed counselee, but there is an absence of reference to human sin that affects the self-esteem, and healthy self-structure based on God's confirmation. Finally, the application of the Kohut theory in Christian counseling resulted in the establishment of self-structure in God, the restoration of aspirations and ideals, and the enhancement of self-object utilization ability that constitutes self-structure.

본 연구의 목적은 우울증 내담자의 자기구조 회복에 관한 기독교 상담적 고찰을 코헛(Heinz Kohut)의 이론을 기반으로 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 우울 내담자의 독특한 자기구조를 살펴보고, 코헛의 이론을 기반으로 우울 내담자의 자기구조 회복 요소들 을 살펴보았다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 우울증 내담자는 부정적으로 편향되고 불균형적인 자 기구조를 가지고 있으며, 긍정적, 부정적 자기정보의 양과 질에 차이를 지닌다. 동시 에 과도하게 이상적인 자기에 대한 현실적 평가가 부재하다. 코헛은 우울증 내담자의 자기구조에 대해, 포부와 이상의 결핍을 심층적으로 설명해주며, 우울 내담자의 삶의 소망과 목적, 목표의 상실, 낮은 자존감을 설명해준다. 동시에 현실적 목표를 세우고 자존감을 유지하는 능력, 건강한 이상을 갖고 자기 달램을 할 수 있는 능력의 저하도 건강한 자기구조와 자기애의 미성숙이라고 명시한다. 코헛은 자아상과 타인상에 대한 과도한 이상화로 인한 현실적 감각의 결여와 미흡한 자기대상 경험의 내재화를 설명하며 우울증 내담자의 병리적 자기구조를 설명하였다. 코헛의 자기구조 연구에 대한 성경적 관점으로 성경적 자기구조의 핵심인 존재정체성을 기반으로 하는 자기구조를 살펴보았고, 코헛이 언급한 삶의 포부와 이상에 대한 성경적인 자기구조의 위치와 특 징을 살펴보았다. 코헛은 우울 내담자의 자기구조에 대한 중요한 통찰들을 주지만, 인 간 본연의 자기구조인 하나님의 확증을 기반으로 하는 자기감과 건강한 자기애에 영 향을 주는 인간의 죄성에 대한 언급은 부재한 한계가 있다. 마지막으로 우울증 내담 자를 위한 기독교 상담의 코헛 이론의 적용점으로는 하나님 안에서의 자기구조 구축, 포부와 이상의 회복, 자기구조를 구성하는 자기대상 활용 능력 증진을 도출하였다.
