In the theatre, the actor's body is a means of communication, a medium for communicating with the audience, and an important tool for determining the outcome of performances and works. The actor's body must be controlled by itself, and its utility as a means of expression is very important. The core of this study is to analyze the previous studies related to actors' physical training and methods, and to classify them into body training, emotional and sensory expressions, and to suggest the direction of the most effective actors’ physical training program. The results of the study were as follows: First, the yearly analysis of the actor's body training programs listed in the thesis and professional journals. Second, the specific methods and characteristics of the actor's body training programs. Third, the extract of the effects of the actor physical training program. The purpose of this study is to lay the foundation for developing future-oriented and rational physical training programs and for drawing alternatives to existing methods.

연극에서 배우의 신체는 전달 방식의 수단이고 관객과 소통하는 매개체이자 공연과 작품의 결과를 지배하는 중요한 도구이다. 배우의 신체는 스스로 통제하고, 표현수단으로써 활용의 효용성은 매우 중요하다. 이 연구의 핵심은 배우 신체훈련과 메소드관련 선행연구들을 분석하여 기초 신체 트레이닝과 정서 및 감정표현으로 구분하고, 가장 효과적 인 배우 신체훈련프로그램의 방향성을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 첫째, 국내 학위논문과 학술 논문 에 등재된 배우 신체훈련 프로그램이 연도별로 어떻게 분포되어 있는가? 둘째, 배우 신체훈련 프로그램들은 배우의 신체훈련을 위해 어떤 방법을 제시했는가? 셋째, 연구된 배우 신체훈련 프로그램은 어떠한 효과들을 나타내고 있는 지를 살펴보고 면밀하게 분석하여 배우 신체훈련의 중요성에 대한 인식을 높이고 미래지향적이고 합리적인 프로그 램의 개발과 대안을 제시하기 위한 바탕을 마련하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다.
