The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between perfectionism, social support, and burnout of dance major students. The subjects of the study were 314 dance majors who were attending universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and the questionnaire was used as a survey tool. Data processing was performed using the SPSS 18.0 program and statistical analysis using the correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and path analysis using multiple regression analysis.As a result, the following conclusions were drawn. First, male students had higher social support than female students, and Korean dance and ballet had higher parental pressure, behavioral suspicions, and physical management than modern dance. The lower the dance career, the higher dance exhaustion, poor performance, and emotional exhaustion.Second, parental pressure, which is a sub-variable of perfectionism, negatively affected social support, and behavioral doubt, physical management, and personal standards had a positive effect on social support. Third, parental pressure and suspicion of behavior had a positive effect on dance exhaustion and personal standards had a negative effect. Fourth, perfectionism had a direct influence on social support and dance exhaustion. There was no mediating effect of social support in the relationship between perfectionism and dance exhaustion.

이 연구는 무용전공대학생의 완벽주의성향, 사회적지지 및 무용탈진의 관계를 규명하는데 목적을 두고 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 무용전공대학생 314명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용 하여 상관분석, 중다회귀분석, 중다회귀분석을 이용한 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 통계처리 하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 남학생이 여학생보다 사회적지지가 높고, 한국무용, 발레가 현대무용보 다 무용탈진이 높고, 무용경력이 낮을수록 무용탈진이 높았다. 둘째, 부모의 압박은 사회적지지에 부적영향을 미치며, 행동에 대한 의심, 신체관리, 개인적기준은 무용탈진에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부 모의 압박, 행동에 대한 의심은 무용탈진에 정적 영향을 미치며 개인적 기준은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나 타났다. 넷째, 완벽주의성향과 무용탈진의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과는 나타나지 않았다.
