This paper examines when Calvin began to have a negative view of Roman Catholic Church, to live a life of devotion as a Reformer, and to find out the timing of Calvin's conversion, In particular through his understanding of "subita conversio" in the preface to Calvin's Commentary on Psalms (1557), I seeks to understand his life and explore the historical and theological meaning of Protestant. Therefore it does not reveal the clear year of Calvin's personal and religious experience. That's because Calvin didn't mean it, and the question is a question that can't be answered with certainty. So what does it really mean to reveal when Calvin was conversion? Calvin is a great religious Reformer who has devoted himself entirely to completing religious reforms initiated by Luther, and is a milestone in the history of Protestant. Therefore, Calvin's event of conversion has theological and historical significance of more than one individual At that time he was so strongly devoted to the superstitions of the papacy that nothing less could draw me from such depths of mire.
