Understanding the Holy Spirit that came upon at Pentecost has raised some debates among Systematic theologians, Pastors as well as New Testament scholars, Is 'filling with the Holy Spirit' same as 'baptism in the Holy Spint' or not? Is the Pentecostal experience of the Holy Spirit an additional gift as a second blessing to the already-saved believers? Is the Pentecostal experience repeatable or not? What is the role of the Holy Spirit that came upon at Pentecost in Luke-Acts? In this paper, we will not review previous scholarly debates, Instead, we will attempt to examine the major passages to find out the primary role of the Holy Spirit in Luke-Acts, especially the Pentecostal experience. For our exegetical interpretation of the passages, there are two important perspectives. One is that since Luke and Acts are two consecutive works structured in parallel in most part, the Pentecost event in Acts is to be interpreted in parallel with the event of Jesus' baptism m Luke. The other is that the Pentecost event as the prerequisite to the consecutive progress of Acts is to be interpreted in light of the significance of Jerusalem toward the end of the earth As Jesus who had been with the Holy Spint even from his being conceived in his mother did receive the Holy Spirit at his baptism, his disciples who proleptically had experienced the Holy Spirit came to receive the Holy Spirit officially on the day of Pentecost. As the Spirit proleptically recognized Jesus' being crucified and resurrected at his baptism and led Jesus' salvific ministry during his life, the Holy Spirit came upon the believers to proleptically recognize their salvation by the baptism in the Spirit and led their life by their being filled with the Holy Spirit. Thus, the Pentecost event must be taken as both the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the filling with the Spirit but in different senses.

사도행전의 오순절 성령강림에 대한 이해는 특히 오순절주의자들의 주장으로 많은 논쟁을 촉발하여, 조직신 학자들이나 신약학자들, 그리고 목회자들 사이에 문제점으로 남아있다. 오순절 성령 체헐과 관련하여, '성령 세례' 와 '성령 충만' 은 같은가 다른가? 이 오순절 성령은 구원받은 성도가 받아야 할 소위 '제2차적인 은사' (donum superadditum, an additional gift, a second blessing)인가? 오순절 성령 강림 사건은 단회적인가 영 속적인가? 이런 문제들과 더불어, 오순절에 강림한 성령의 역할은 무엇인가? 등의 문제들이 제기되어왔다. 많이 논쟁이 되어온 문제들이지만,학자들의 논쟁들을 검토하여 정리하기보다 누가복음-사도행전 본문 해석 을 중심으로 문제들을 풀어가고자 한다. 이런 문제들을 풀어가는 데, 먼저 다음 두 가지 관점들을 주목한다. 첫째, 누가복음과 사도행전은 병행 구조를 가지고 연속적으로 기록된 책이기 때문에, 성령세례 사건으로 제 시된 오순절 성령 강림은 예수님의 세례 받으신 사건의 짝으로 이해되어야 한다. 둘째, 땅 끝까지 예수 그리 스도에 대한 증거가 확산되어가는 과정을 가진 사도행전 구조에 있어서 예루살렘 교회의 위상을 파악하는 것이 사도행전의 성령 이해에 중요하다. 이상의 관점에서 해석해 볼 때, 예수님의 세례사건은 그의 십자가 에 죽으시고 부활하심을 예표적으로 이해하여 그의 세례를 통하여 예수님의 인류 구원사역을 선취적으로 완 성하신 것으로 이해된다. 이를 바탕으로 예수님의 제자들은 오순절 이전에 선취적으로 성령체험을 하고, 오 순절에 실체적으로 성령체험을 한 것으로 이해된다오순절 성령 강림은 일차적으로 성령세례의 경우로 이해 하는데, 그 사건은 또한 성령 충만으로 설명이 되어져야 한다. 이렇게 이중적으로 이해될 때 여러 논란이 사 라진다. 성령세례와 성령충만은 분명히 구별되어야한다. 성령세례는 우리의 구원을 확증하는 의미를 지닌다 . 오순절 성령 강림은 그것의 연원을 생각할 때 단회성을 주장할 수 있지만, 실천적인 측면에서는 새로운 신 자들마다 성령세례를 받고 성령충만함으로 성령의 인도하심으로 올바른 사역과 신앙생활을 영위해야 할 것이다. 그리고 오순절에 강림한 성령의 역할을 한 가지 측면에서 이해하는 것은 적절치 못하다. 게다가 성령 의 사역을 표현함에 있어서 많은 경우 직접적으로 나타내지 않기 때문에, 성령의 역할을 함의하지는 않는지 고려 해야 한다.
