The purpose of this study is to examine mediating effects of intolerance of uncertainty and social comparison orientation between Socially Prescribed Perfectionism and job-seeking Anxiety in undergraduate students group seeking for their job. The data for this study consist of 305 students who enrolled, take time off and suspend graduation from their University or Community college. In process of predicting job-seeking anxiety by socially prescribed perfectionism, there were statically positive relationship in roots that socially prescribed perfectionism through intolerance of uncertainty, this intolerance through social comparison, this social comparison through job-seeking anxiety. Then, in relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety, intolerance of uncertainty and social comparison are represented perfect mediating effect. This study has significance by these reasons. First, job-seeking anxiety in undergraduate students who seeking for their job is affected by their socially prescribed perfectionism. Second, results confirms mediate effects of intolerance of uncertainty and social comparison tendency in relationship between socially prescribed perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety. Furthermore, based on this study, implications for counseling and psychotherapy, limitations of this study and suggestions for follow-up study were discussed.

본 연구는 취업준비 대학생의 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 사회비교 경향성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기, 인천 지역에 소재 한 4년제 대학 및 전문대학에 재학 중이거나 휴학상태 혹은 졸업을 유예(수료상태)하고 있는 성인남녀 대학생 450명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하였으며, 이 중 305부가 분석 자료로 사용되었다. 통계분석에는 사회통계분석 프로그램인 SPSS 18.0과 구조방정식모형 프로그램인 AMOS 18.0을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 주요 변인들 간의 상관분석 결과 사회부과 완벽 주의와 취업불안, 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 사회비교 경향성이 서로 통계적으로 유의미한 정적 상 관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구모형의 직간접 효과를 확인한 결과, 사회부과 완벽주의는 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 사회비교 경향성을 거쳐 취업불안에 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족, 사회비교 경향성이 순차적으로 완전매 개효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통해서 취업준비 대학생들의 사회부과 완벽주의 성향이 취업불안에 영향을 미친다는 것과 사회부과 완벽주의와 취업불안의 관계에서 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족과 사회비교 경향성의 완전매개효과를 확인하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 상담 및 심리치료에 대한 시사점과 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
