This paper aims to examine the memory and representation of ‘the Paris-Jangseo Movement’ in 『Poems; monument to Paris-Jangseo Movement』, and to clarify the significance of this collection. The "Paris Service Memorial Poems" was published in 1973. In all, 2, 086 cities were recorded. The works were classified by region in order of Seoul, Busan, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gyeongbuk, Gyeongnam, Jeju, Japan, etc. By region, Seoul 246, Busan 40, Gyeonggi 104, Gangwon 117, Chungbuk 166, Chungnam 248, Jeonbuk 105, Jeonnam 178, Gyeongbuk 547, Gyeongnam 284, Jeju 32, Japan 19, etc. In terms of works, Gyeongbuk is the most followed by Gyeongnam and Chungnam. The authors consisted of independence activists, Confucian students who studied Korean Confucian scholars, and those who worked on creative poems based on the knowledge of Chinese characters. In this collection of poetry, it was reproduced as the fundamental force of independence to the Paris collection movement, the independence movement of 3.1 and the two world movements, and the independence movement united by Yurim beyond the colors. Thus, 『Poems; monument to Paris-Jangseo Movement』 is a text that 're-thinks' the history of independence movements in Yurim, and it is one area of Korean modern literary history in that it is expressed in a limited time. 이 논문은 『파리장서비기념시집』에 나타난 ‘파리장서운동’에 대한 기 억 및 재현 양상을 살펴보고, 이 시집의 의의를 밝히는 데에 목적이 있 다. 『파리장서비기념시집』은 1973년에 출간되었다. 모두 2, 086명의 시 2, 086수가 수록되었다. 작품들은 지역별로 구분하여 서울-부산-경기-강 원-충북-충남-전북-전남-경북-경남-제주-일본 등의 순서로 실었다. 지역별 로 보면 서울 246수, 부산 40수, 경기 104수, 강원 117수, 충북 166수, 충 남 248수, 전북 105수, 전남 178수, 경북 547수, 경남 284수, 제주 32수 일본 19수 등으로 작품 숫자상으로 보면, 경북이 가장 많으며 그 뒤로 경남, 충남 등의 순이다. 작가들을 보면, 독립운동가들, 한말 성리학자를 사사하여 유학을 전수하던 유학자들, 한문 소양을 기반으로 한시 창작 활동을 하던 이들로 구성되었다. 이 시집에서는 파리장서운동에 대해 대한 독립의 근원적인 힘, 3.1 만세운동과 쌍벽을 이루는 독립운동, 당색 을 넘어서서 유림이 합일하여 추진한 독립운동 등으로 재현했다. 이에 『 파리장서기념비시집』은 유림의 독립운동역사를 ‘재사유’하게 하는 텍스트이며, 이것이 한시로 표현되었다는 점에서 한국현대문학사의 한 영역 이 되며, 한국문학사 범주를 확장하는 데에 기여할 수 있는 텍스트라고 할 수 있다.
