Analysis of Life SOC Accessibility for Spatial Equity
초록
영어
In urban environments, spatial equity relates to equal accessibility of urban facilities services and equitable distribution of facilities, regardless of the social position and economic status. This study analyzed the equity of accessibility of Living SOC for Spatial Equity in Suwon, Yongin, Goyang, Seongnam, and Bucheon in Gyeonggi-do. The targets of the analysis are town-level of the walkable Living SOC, and the average land price, the infant population ratio, and the elderly population ratio were utilized to define the socio-economic status. As a result, the difference in accessibility between socio-economic status was found to be closer to Group A than to Group B for accessibility to 12 facility. Independent T test also showed significant differences between groups. Group A, whose percentage of the elderly and infant was lower than the average, was closer to facilities than group B and the difference between the two groups was significant. According to the regression analysis results, the influence on the independent variables ‘infant population ratio’, ‘aged population ratio’, and ‘average land price’ were 4.685, 6.133, -6,589 respectively. Even within large cities with similar conditions, the shortest approach distances by Hangjeong-dong and facillities showed differences between social and economic classes. Further discussions are needed for ensuring fair distribution and access across classes in progress of expanding Living SOC.
