본 연구는 지속가능보고서를 발행한 기업과 대응기업간의 관계를 유가증권시장에 상장된 기업을 대 상으로 하여 두 집단 간의 특성관계를 검증하였다. KSI에 보고서가 공개된 기업을 대상으로 하여 10 년간의 연구기간동안(2004 - 20013) 보고서 발간기업은 608기업으로 이를 바탕으로 모집단에서 238개 기업을 표본으로 사용하였고, 산업을 세분류하여 평균값으로 130개의 대응기업을 선정하여 분석에 사 용하였으며, 실증분석결과는 수출비중과 ROE, ROA, 기업규모에서 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인하여 기 업규모가 클수록 보고서 발간을 잘하고 있음을 보여주었다.
