CDue to product diversification, new chemicals are emerging. Interest in hazards has been increasing in providing the information on the hazards of existing and new chemicals and making laws such as the EU's REACH and legislation on registration, evaluation and etc of chemicals in Korea, In GHS, hazards are expressed in H code and standardized. The laundry detergent, which is a target of this study, affects the human and the water ecosystem after use, and controversy about its hazard has been raised. In the laundry detergent, an eco-mark system is applied to products with excellent environment and quality. However, An eco-mark product is a certification system that is attached if it meets the criteria set in terms of environment and quality. The criteria also includes hazard information from the use of chemicals. This study was proposed the improvement plan for the harmfulness among eco-mark standards of domestic laundry detergents compared with the overseas enco-mark standards. After reviewing the environmental mark standards of foreign countries, they were compared with each other and suggested ways to improve domestic eco-mark standards. The measures to improve the eco-mark standard are presented in two categories: human hazards and ecological hazards. Improvement measures for the hazards within the proposed eco-mark criteria may be used to improve domestic laundry detergent eco-mark standards.

제품의 다양화로 인하여, 새로운 화학물질이 생겨나고 있다. EU의 REACH, 국내의 화학 물질 등록 및 평가 등에 관한 법률 등을 제정하고, 기존의 화학물질과 신규 화학물질의 유해성에 대한 정보를 제공해야하는 등 유해성에 대한 관심을 갈수록 높아지고 있다. GHS에서는 유해성에 대해 H code로 표현하여 표준화하여 제시하고 있다. 본 연구의 대상 인 세탁세제도 사용 후에 인체와 수생태계에 영향을 주고 있어, 유해성에 대한 논란이 제 기되고 있다. 한편, 세탁세제에서도 환경과 품질이 우수한 제품에 부여하는 환경마크 제 도가 운영되고 있다. 환경마크는 환경과 품질 측면에서 정해진 기준을 만족하면 부착하는 제품으로, 기준에는 화학물질 사용으로 인한 유해성 정보도 포함되어 있다. 본 연구에서 는 국내 세탁세제의 환경마크 기준 중 유해성에 대한 기준에 대해 해외 환경마크 기준과 비교하여 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 국외의 환경마크 기준을 검토한 후, 상호 비교하 였으며, 국내의 환경마크 기준의 개선방안을 제시하였다. 환경마크 기준 개선방안은 인체 유해성과 생태계 유해성으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 제시된 환경마크 기준 내 유해성에 대 한 개선방안은 추후 국내 세탁세제 환경마크 기준을 개선할 시 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
