This study divided 8 athletes who qualified for Pommel Horse Final in 2019 National Sports Festival and 8 athletes who qualified for Pommel Horse Final in 49th World Championship into two groups to compare the differences between two groups, examine world trend, and provide information. For collecting information, this study visited the field and collected filming and the collected materials were processed in mean, standard deviation, and percentage by using Excel 2016. The results were as follows. First, while both groups preferred D difficulty, NSF Group performed more A and B difficulty techniques with low degree of difficulty while WC Group performed more E, F, and G difficulties with high degree of difficulty. For the Difficult score, NSF Group showed average of 5.80 while WC Group showed average of 0.64 higher than NSF Group by 0.64. For execution score, NSF Group and WC Group showed difference of 1.00 with WC Group’s average of 7.48 and WC Group’s average of 8.48. In the final score, WC Group showed average score higher than NSF Group by 1.64. Secondly, WC performed difficult techniques by utilizing existing techniques. On the other hand, NSF Group showed existing stable performance. This study results examined the performances of world’s excellent athletes and they will be useful for Korean national team and people related to gymnastics.

본 연구는 2019년 전국체육대회 안마결승진출선수 8명, 제49회 세계선수권대회 안마결승진출선수 8명 총 16명 을 두 그룹으로 구분하여 차이점, 세계적인 흐름과 정보를 제공하는 목적으로 진행하였다. 자료수집은 현장방문과 촬영본 을 수집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 Excel 2016을 사용하여 평균, 표준편차, 백분율로 자료를 처리하였다. 연구결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 두 그룹 모두 D난도를 선호하였지만 저난도로 평가되는 A, B난도는 NSF그룹의 실시빈도가 높았으며, 고난도로 평가되는 E, F, G난도는 WC그룹이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 시작점수는 NSF그룹 평균 5.80점, WC그룹 평균 6.44점으로 0.64점의 차이가 나타났으며, 실행점수는 NSF그룹 평균 7.48점, WC그룹 평균 8.48점으로 1.00점의 차이 가 나타나 최종점수에서 WC그룹이 NSF그룹보다 평균 1.64점 높게 나타났다. 둘째, WC그룹은 기존의 기술을 응용하여 고난도의 기술을 실시하였지만 NSF그룹은 기존의 안정적인 연기를 구성하여 실시한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 본 연구의 결과는 세계우수선수들의 연기내용을 파악하여 우리나라 대표팀을 비롯하여 체조관계자에게 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.
