The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of community perception, sport perception, social welfare perception, and cultural perception for mega-sports for the disabled on media information involvement, cognitive involvement, and participative involvement in mega-sports for the disabled. To achieve the purpose of this study, a questionnaire about the impact on future participation in Special Olympics on the awareness of Special Olympics was modified to used the study and 298 university students participated in the study. The collected data used SPSS 21.0 version for Windows program for multiple regression analysis to impact on future participation in mega-sports for the disabled on the awareness of mega-sports for the disabled. As a result, first, social welfare perception of the mega-sports for the disabled has a positive effect on media information involvement. Second, the influence of community and cultural perception on the cognitive involvement of the mega-sports for the disabled was positive. Third, social welfare perception of the mega-sports for the disabled has a positive effect on participatory involvement.

본 연구는 장애인 메가 스포츠에 대한 공동체적 인식, 스포츠적 인식, 사회복지적 인식, 문화적 인식이 장애인 메가 스포츠의 미디어 정보적 관여, 인지적 관여 및 참여적 관여에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 장애인 메가 스포츠 활성화에 도움이 될 수 있도록 기초 자료를 제공하데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 대학생 총 298명을 대상으로 스페셜올림 픽에 대한 인식이 향후 스페셜올림픽 관여에 미치는 영향 설문지를 본 연구에 맞게 수정⋅보완하여 사용하였다. 수집된 자료들은 장애인 메가 스포츠에 대한 인식이 향후 관여에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 다중회귀분석을 위한 SPSS 21.0 version for Windows 프로그램을 사용하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론이 도출되었다. 첫째, 장애인 메가 스포츠에 대한 사회복지적 인식이 미디어 정보적 관여에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애인 메가 스포츠에 대한 공동체적 인식 및 문화적 인식이 인지적 관여에 미치는 영향은 긍정적으로 나타났다. 셋째, 장애인 메가 스포츠 이벤 트에 대한 사회복지적 인식이 참여적 관여에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
