This paper explores the expected effect of introducing Blockchain into strategic industries in Gangwon economy. In terms of methodology, employing ridge regression this paper tries to increase the robustness of analytic results through the cross-validation. The data set is composed of atypical text, which has been collected fromCho-sun, Dong-A, Chung-Ang, and Gangwon daily newspapers by crawlingmethod. The time frame covers fromthe year 2016 when the concept of the 4th industrial revolution has been coined to the recent March 2019. The final data set has 5,212 articles from Cho-sun, Dong-A, and Chung-Ang Ilbos and 48 articles from Gangwon-Ilbo. In addition, relevant articles by every single strategic industries has been collected. The main findings are: it is possible to expect (1) the expected effect of introducing Blockchain vary by strategic industry, (2) the expected effect of introducing Blockchain vary by industry showing positive or negative effects, (3) the expected effect of introducing Blockchain into strategic industries be greater than other industries in Gangwon economy, (4) the expected effect of introducing Blockchain vary by industry in terms of an input-output path.

이 글은 강원경제 전략산업에 대한 블록체인 기술도입에 따른 기대효과를 추정하였다. 방법론 차원에서 능형회귀모형 분석을 채택하였고, 교 차검증을 통해 분석결과의 강건성을 제고하였다. 분석에 사용된 자료는 조선일보, 중앙일보, 동아일보, 강원일보 등 주요 일간지와 강원경제에 특화된 일간지에 실린 관련 기사를 크롤링 기법으로 수집한 비정형 텍스트 자료이다. 연구대상 시기는 4차 산업혁명이 소개된 2016년부터 최근 2019년 3월까지이며, 자료수집 결과 총 5,212건의 관련 기사를 수집하였고, 강원일보의 경우 48건을 수집하였다. 이외에도 전략산업별 관련 기사 텍스트를 수집하였다. 분석결과 주요 발견은 다음과 같다: (1) 블록체인 도입으로 인한 기대효과는 산업별로 다르다, 능형회귀모형 분석 결과 긍 정효과와 부정효과를 상쇄한 순효과 차원에서 가장 큰 효과를 기대할 수 있는 산업은 ‘바이오’와 ‘의료기기’였고, ‘헬스케어’, ‘신재생에너지’, ‘자 동차부품’, ‘플라즈마’, ‘세라믹신소재’ 등의 순서로 나타났다, (2) 블록체인 도입으로 인한 기대효과는 산업별로 긍정 및 부정효과가 공존하는 양 상이 다르다, (3) 강원경제에서 기반을 다진 전략산업의 경우 일부 산업의 경우에만 블록체인 도입으로 인한 기대효과가 다른 산업에 비해 상대 적으로 클 것으로 기대할 수 있다, (4) 블록체인 도입으로 인한 기대효과는 산업별로 투입-산출 경로가 다르다.
