The mission for juvenile delinquent in korean juvenile prison, juvenile institution and so on is special correction mission that ministers for young offenders plant conversion and correction for their change through the christian gospel. In korean juvenile institutions and juvenile prison and so on, religion correction for them including christianity have had a positive effects on their conversion and correction through many empirical existing researches. In spite of many ministers and missionary institutions have been running juvenile correction minister programs, the above programs have been fixed in many problems including professionalism, path-dependence, residual mission and so on. Therefore, I showed diverse problems of juvenile correction minister programs after asserting their contents and traits focusing on the importance of juvenile correction minister programs in improving productivity of juvenile correction minister. In conclusion, I asserted diverse improvement devices for them on the basis of the gospel of correction mission such as mission professionalism, mission de-capitalization, mission democracy, a therapeutic mission, engineering mission including AI and so on.

소년교정사역이란 소년교정·보호시설의 수용자 및 소년범죄인에 대해 교정사역 자가 기독교적 복음화를 통하여 회심과 교화를 내면화시키는 교정사역을 말한다. 범죄소년의 교화의 하나의 방법으로 기독교 등을 포함한 종교교화가 범죄소년의 교화에 미치는 실증적 연구들은 많은 문헌들에 나타나있다. 그럼에도 우리나라에 서는 교정사역자와 교정사역기관에 의해 소년교정사역을 위한 사역프로그램을 시행하여 왔지만 전문성, 경로의존성, 잔여적 사역 등 여러 면에서 문제점들이 노정되어 왔다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소년교정사역의 생산성 제고에서 프로그램 의 중요성에 착안해 우리나라에서 시행되고 있는 소년교정사역프로그램의 내용 과 특징을 살펴본 뒤에 소년교정사역프로그램의 문제점을 살펴보았다. 결론적으로는 개선방안으로 사역의 복음화에 기초하여 교정사역의 교정복지적 전문화, 탈 자본화. 민주화, 치료사법적 교정사역, 공학적 교정사역 등을 제시하였다.
