This thesis is a study on the essence of his political view, religious view, and history based on the ideological background of Cho so-Ang. Cho's accomplishment as an thinker is rated the best when compared to many people. Samgyunism(三均主義), Iukseonggo(六聖敎), Daedong religion(大同宗敎), etc., and the value he wanted to make remain many achievements. However, there have been many studies on Cho so-Ang, mainly on political aspects, and relatively few approaches to religious and historical views. In particular, less research has been done on the connection with Daejonggyo. Therefore, in this article, Cho so-Ang focused on the connection with Daejonggyo, which is the fundamental basis for forming his ideas. In the first part, I examined the relationship between Cho So-ang and Daejonggyo, and focused on his history as a Daejonggyo's political view, his society as a Daejonggyo's religious view, and Daejonggyo's thought in the Historical Perspective of Daejonggyo.

이 논문은 조소앙 사상 형성에 토대가 되는 가치가 무엇인가에 대해 초 점을 맞춘 것으로, 그의 정치‧종교‧역사관을 만들어준 그 본질에 대해 해 명하고자 한 글이다. 사상가로서의 조소앙의 자취는 타의 추종을 불허할 만큼 독보적이고 독창적이다. 삼균주의‧육성교‧대동종교 등등, 그가 추구 하고 개척한 가치 역시 적지 않은 업적으로 남아있다. 그러나 그 동안 조소앙에 대한 연구가 주로 정치관(삼균주의)에 관한 연구로 많이 집중 되었고 종교관이나 역사관에 대한 접근은 비교적 적었다. 특히 대종교와 직접적으로 연결하여 언급한 것은 더더욱 희소했다. 그러므로 이 글에서 는, 조소앙 사상형성의 본질이라 할 수 있는 대종교와의 연관성에 초점 을 맞췄다. 조소앙과 대종교의 관계를 살펴보고, 그의 대종교적 정치관인 삼균주의와 대종교적 종교관인 육성교, 그리고 대종교적 역사관을 통해 투영된 대종교적 사상관을 중심으로 살피고자 했다.
