Preaching as two way communication process consists of the biblical interpretation and sermon message delivery. Contemporary homiletical issues focus either on the biblical interpretation for sermon preparation or on the sermon delivery form. It lacks of the holistic homiletical study unifying both the biblical interpretation and sermon delivery form together. This paper seeks to lay the homiletical foundation unifying two dimension of the biblical interpretation and sermon delivery in terms of the hermeneutical realism. On the contrary of the critical realism, the hermeneutical realism insists that we interpreter with the biblical interpretation and the congregation understanding may arrive at the divine reality which is embodied by the Word of God. This divine reality by the biblical interpretation and the congregation understanding belongs to five steps contextualization of the Word of God: The first revelation contextualization step, the second linguistic turn step in the canonization process, the third interpretation contextualization step for re-enactment, the fourth homiletical contextualization step for the recognition of reversal, the fifth communal contextualization step for the faith community. Among the five contextualization steps, the third biblical interpretation step seeks for the re-enactment of the divine reality in the text. The fourth sermon delivery step guides the congregation to experience the divine presence which the preacher has experienced the Word-event in advance in the biblical interpretation process. The preachers who guide the congregation to experience the divine reality in preaching may apply the effective linguistic tools such as narrative plot for the recognition of reversal, frame semantics, perlocutionary speech, identity narrative, and the redemptive history narrative.

설교의 의사소통은 성경 해석과 설교 메시지의 전달이라는 양방향 의 의사소통(two way communication)이다. 현대 설교학의 주된 쟁점 은 설교 준비를 위한 성경 해석과 설교의 형식의 두 주제 중 어느 한 쪽 에 편파적으로 치우쳐 있다. 두 영역을 종합적으로 설명하는 설교학 연 구가 충분하지 못하다. 본 논문은 성경 해석과 설교 메시지의 전달의 두 차원을 해석학적 실재론의 관점에서 종합하는 설교학의 토대를 구축하고자 한다. 비판 적 실재론과 달리 해석학적 실재론은 해석자가 성경 해석과 청중 해석 의 방법을 통해서 하나님의 말씀으로 구현되는 하나님의 실재에 도달 할 수 있음을 주장한다. 해석학적 실재론에 근거한 성경 해석과 설교 메시지는 다섯 단계로 구성된 하나님 말씀의 맥락화 과정에 속해 있다: 1단계 계시의 맥락화 단계, 2단계 정경화를 통한 언어적 전환의 맥락 화, 3단계 해석을 통한 과거 사건의 추체험을 위한 로고스의 해석적 맥 락화, 4단계 반전의 깨달음을 위한 설교적 맥락화, 5단계 신앙 공동체 형성을 위한 공동체적 맥락화. 5단계 맥락화 과정 중에 성경 해석 과정은 하나님의 실재를 추체험 하는 것이고 설교 메시지 전달 과정은 설교자가 먼저 경험한 하나님의 실재를 설교 구조와 형식에 담아서 청중에게 전달하는 것이다. 설교자 가 회중에게 하나님의 실재를 전달하여 하나님의 실재를 경험할 수 있 도록 하는 언어적인 수단으로 틀 의미론과 효과수반발화, 정체성 내러 티브, 그리고 구속사 내러티브가 있다. 설교자는 이러한 언어적인 수단 들을 활용하여 자신의 해석학적인 추체험을 신자들도 경험할 수 있도록 설교해야 한다.
