This article is to present Kang, Tae-Kook’s Practical ideology of his life of true piety. Kang’s true piety was basically grounded in God’s Word, and his service toward Jesus Christ in Kang’s entire life. It is true that he shown his piety with his sacrificial love in Jesus christ, and he lived evangelist, theologian, pastor, preacher, and so on. And He called his piety the spirit of a grain of wheat because his life is like a grain of wheat(John 12:24). With Sola Scriptura and the spirit of a grain of wheat, He planed ‘Heaven Kingdom 50 years Movement’ in 1934, he established Korean Bible University in 1952, Central Bible Church and Far East Broadcasting Company in 1956, and Korean Bible Missions in 1969. His achievements are truly great, but he is not well known in Korea. Therefore, this paper introduces Kang and his practical ideology to everyone. It surveyed mainly on the key of his true piety by dealing with his books, My Testimony, Daily Devotion(1-7): Biblical Exposition on The New Testament, and Religion of the Bible(1-8).

논문은 강태국의 실천신학적 사상과 삶을 경건론 중심으로 연구한 다. 강태국의 경건론은 하나님의 말씀인 성경뿐 아니라, 자신의 생애 동안 예수 그리스도를 향한 사랑과 헌신이 바탕을 이루고 있다. 강태국 은 진정 예수 그리스도를 위한 희생적 사랑을 몸소 보인 참된 신자다. 즉, 그는 자신의 삶을 복음전도자, 신학자, 목사와 설교자로 하나님께 드렸다. 한 마디로, 그의 삶을 요약하면 요 12:24에 나오는 밀알, 그 자 체이며 예수 그리스도를 따르는 진실한 종이었다. 이런 점에서, 강태국 은 자신의 경건론을 가리켜 밀알 정신으로 정의한다. 아무튼, 강태국은 자신의 밀알 정신을 토대로 1932년에‘천국운동 50년 계획’을 세웠다. 또한 그는 1952년에는‘한국성서대학교’, 1956년에는‘중앙성서교회’ 와‘극동방송국’과 1969년에는 한국 최초의 독립교단이라 평할 수 있 는‘한국성서선교회’를 설립했다. 이러한 그의 업적을 열거하다보면 그의 사역은 실로 위대하다고 평할 수 있다. 그러나 그의 엄청난 사역과 달리 그의 명성은 국내에서 널리 알려져 있지 않다. 그러므로 논문은 강태국 생애와 그의 실천적 사상인 밀알 정신을 알 리는데 그 목적이 둔다. 또한 논문은 강태국의 경건론이라 할 수 있는 밀알 정신을 탐구하기 위하여 그의 간증서인『나의 증언』, 신약주해집 인『매일의 묵상(1-7권): 신약주해서』와 그의 설교집인『성서의 종교 (1-8권)』을 토대로 연구한다.
