In the neoliberal era, which took over the classical liberal lines of the 19th century, 'freedom' in the 1970s is not an object but a market economy, so the topic of this era is by far the 'economic'. In Christian education, which requires reading the times and presenting visions, the economy is an important topic. In the Bible, we find verses and meanings that are closely related to the economic sphere, and Christian education must establish a Christian economic view through correct interpretation and education.To this end, this paper points out the problems of growth and consumption terrestrialism, and secondly, inequality and polarization, among the grammars of the neoliberal era.In order to solve this problem, we propose to build a community of mutual equality, and seek concrete action plans through 16th-century Reformers Luther and Calvin, and 18th-century revival activist John Wesley. This need is suggested in Chapter II.Chapter III studied instrumental models based on biblical grounds and the ideas and practices of Luther, Calvin, and John Wesley, 16th-century Reformers, for the education of economic sanctification for the congregation. Through this, the expectation effect of the mission of church education to realize the correct economic concept and economic sanctification was discussed in the conclusion of Chapter IV.

19세기 고전적 자유주의 노선을 이어 받아 1970년대에 등장한 신자유주의 시대에서의 ‘자유’는 인간이 대상이 아니라 시장경제이기에, 이 시대의 화두는 단연 ‘경제’이다. 시대를 읽고 비전을 제시해야 하는 기독교교육에서 ‘경제’는 반드시 중요하게 다뤄야 할 주제가 아닐 수 없다. 성서에서도 경제 영역과 밀접한 관계를 맺고 있는 구절과 의미들을 발견할 수 있으며, 기독교교육은 올바른 해석과 교육을 통해 그리스도인의 경제관을 세워야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 Ⅰ장에서 신자유주의 시대에 뒤틀린 문법들 가운데 첫째 성장·소비 지상주의의 문제, 둘째, 불평등·양극화의 문제를 지적한다. 이를 해소하기 위한 기독교교육적 대안으로 상호평등의 공동체 구축을 제안하면서, 구체적인 실천 방안들을 16세기 종교개혁자인 루터와 칼뱅, 18세기 부흥운동가인 웨슬리를 통해 모색하면서 기독교교육 현장에서 반드시 ‘경제적 성화 교육’이 필요함을 Ⅱ장에서 제언한다. Ⅲ장에서는 회중의 경제적 성화 교육을 위해, 성서적 근거와 16세기 종교개혁자인 루터와 칼뱅, 그리고 존 웨슬리의 사상과 실천을 토대로 도구적 모델을 연구하였다. 이를 통해 교회교육이 올바른 경제관념과 경제적 성화를 실현해 갈 수 있는 사명의 기대효과를 Ⅳ장 결론에서 피력하였다.
