This study started from the recognition of the situation and problem that the marriage rate of young people is decreasing and the average age of first marriage is rising as the marriage intention and marriage recognition of young people change. Accordingly, the main concepts related to the change of marriage intention and marriage recognition of young people were reviewed based on previous studies, and the analysis factors of meta-research to be used in this study were set referring to existing meta-researches. As a result of measuring the number of published articles by year, related studies have been conducted more intensively in the 2010s, and among the journals, Korea Journal of Population Studies have been published the most 9 related articles. The review of research method shows that there is 29 primary data-based quantitative researches, 23 secondary data-based quantitative researches, and 3 qualitative researches. As a result of the research topics review, 13 studies related to marriage intention occupied the most, and the second most studies related to marriage recognition/marriage attitude took up 10. Contributions of this study include the findings that the qualitative research is insufficient in related research fields. And author suggested that follow-up studies such as analytical metaresearch are necessary in the future.

본 연구는 청년층의 결혼의향 및 결혼인식이 변화하면서 청년층의 혼인율이 하락하고 평균 초혼연령이 상승하고 있 으며, 이에 따라 향후 낮은 출산율 지속, 인구구성상 젊은 연령대의 부족 심화 등이 예상된다는 상황 및 문제 인식에서 출발하였다. 이에 따라 결혼의향, 결혼인식 등 청년층의 인식변화와 관련한 주요 개념을 선행연구 기반으로 살펴보고, 기존의 메타연구들이 제시한 분석기준을 참고하여 본 연구에 활용될 메타분석의 분석기준을 설정했으며, 국내의 학술 논문들을 중심으로 메타연구를 수행하여 그 분석결과를 제시하였다. 학술지별 연도별 발표논문 수를 측정한 결과, 관련 연구가 2010년대 들어 더욱 집중적으로 수행되고 있으며, 학술지 가운데 한국인구학이 가장 많은 9편의 관련 논문을 발표하였다. 연구방법 관련 검토 결과, 1차자료 기반 양적연구는 29편으로 과반이었으며, 2차자료 기반 양적연구는 23 편, 질적연구는 3편이 각각 수행되었다. 연구주제 관련 검토 결과, 결혼의향 관련 연구가 가장 많은 13편을 점유하였으 며, 결혼인식/결혼태도 관련 연구는 두번째로 많은 10편을 차지하였다. 메타연구를 통해 관련 분야에서 질적연구가 매 우 부족함을 확인한 점 등이 본 연구의 기여이며, 향후 분석적 메타분석 등의 후속연구가 필요함을 제언하였다.
