In modern society, addiction is an unethical behavior as a reaction to normal social behavior. This is a kind of disease that goes beyond individual responsibility, and these diseases are learned. However, no systematic and academic research has been conducted on such addiction and addiction crimes. It has been biased, especially in some areas of learning. It is time for a more detailed and in-depth study, recognizing the seriousness of addiction and addiction crimes in our society. This study analyzed the Journal of Korean Association of Addiction Crime in order to gauge the degree and direction of discussion on addiction and addiction crimes in Korean society. The analysis showed that active participation of working-level researchers in research should be facilitated in order to promote research by researchers of addiction and addiction crimes. There is also a need to further diversify the methods of related research in order to maintain the systematic and objective nature of the study of addiction and addiction crimes. Finally, it was possible to suggest a way to secure application, practicality, professional occupationality, and diversity among school systems, which is the nature of the study of Addiction Criminology, away from being overly dependent on specific academic fields. However, the limitations of the study can be attributed to the inability to identify and verify relationships among variables using various statistical techniques even in the analysis of data. These studies will need to be carried out continuously in the future.

현대사회에서 중독이란 정상적인 사회적 행위에 대한 반작용으로서 비윤리적 행위이며, 이는 단순히 개인의 책임을 넘어선 일종의 질병이고, 이러한 질병은 학습되는 것이라고 할 수 있을 것이다. 하지만 중독 및 중독범죄에 대한 체계적이고 학술적인 연구가 이뤄지지 못하였 으며 일부 학문분야에서 편향적으로 연구가 되어 왔다. 이제는 우리사회의 중독 및 중독범죄 에 대한 심각성을 인식하여 보다 구체적이고 심도 있는 연구가 필요한 시점이라 하겠다. 본 연구는 한국사회의 중독 및 중독범죄에 대하 논의의 정도와 방향성을 가늠하기 위해 ｢한국중 독범죄학회보｣를 분석하였다. 분석결과 중독 및 중독범죄 연구자들의 연구활성화를 위하여 실무자들의 적극적인 연구참여를 촉진시켜야 할 필요성이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 중독 및 중독범죄 연구의 체계성과 객관성을 유지하기 위해 관련 연구의 방법을 좀 더 다분화할 필요 가 있었다. 마지막으로 연구가 특정 학문분야에 지나치게 의존적인 것을 탈피하여 중독범죄 학 연구의 성격인 응용성과 실용성 및 전문 직업성, 학제간의 다양성을 확보하기 위한 방법을 제시하여야 함을 할 수 있었다. 다만 여러 중독관련 논문을 분석하지 못하였고 자료분석에 있 어서도 다양한 통계기법을 활용하여 변수들 간의 관계를 파악하고 검증하지 못한점은 연구의 한계라 할 수 있다. 이러한 연구는 향후 지속적으로 수행되어야 할 것이다.
