The primary school period is a time when the foundation of character is formed, and the direction of life and the level of moral behavior are determined according to what ideas and experiences are made, so education is needed to cultivate the right character at the educational site so that the desirable character can be formed during this period. Thus, it developed a personality education program based on the philosophy of the Jang-Ja who overcame preconceptions and prejudices through fable form and told each person to live with his or her natural nature based on social norms. Through this process, we were able to recognize our identity and derive the possibility of personality education that applied the philosophy of the Jang-Ja through a whole-communication.

초등학교 시기는 인성의 기초가 형성되는 시기로, 어떠한 생각과 경험을 하는지에 따라 삶의 방향과 도덕적 행동의 수준이 결정되므로 이 시기에 바람직한 인성을 형성할 수 있도록 교육 현장에서 올바른 인성함양을 위 한 교육이 필요하다. 이에 무위자연(無爲自然)을 바탕으로 한 장자의 사상을 우화 형식을 통해 선입견, 편견 등 의 극복하고 사회적 규범을 바탕으로 각자가 자신의 타고난 본성(本性)을 발휘하여 살 것을 이야기하는 장자 철학을 적용한 인성교육 프로그램 활동을 개발하였다. 이 과정에서 자기 정체성을 인식하고 소통을 통한 전인 교육을 통해 장자 철학을 적용한 인성교육의 가능성을 도출할 수 있었다.
