This study aims to understand the work experiences among general office workers in a local public organization (hereinafter referred to as the "facility management department"). To achieve the research objective, ten general office workers with more than three and less than seven years of experience in general office at the facility management agency were selected. The research participants took two or more separate in-depth interviews. The interview results were analyzed by qualitative research methods. This qualitative research design involves the use of phenomenological data collection and analysis. The data were analyzed using Georgi’s descriptive phenomenological method, which focuses on revealing the meanings behind vivid experiences. Data analysis resulted in 36 concepts, 18 subcategories, and 5 categories regarding the job experiences of general office workers. The central phenomena describing the relationship between these concepts and categories, causative conditions that contribute to them, and contextual phenomena that affect them, were derived and practical guidance was proposed.

본 연구는 지방공기업 지방공사·공단 유형 중 지방공단(이하‘시설관리공단’)의 일반 사무직 근로자의 직무 경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 연구자는 시설관리공단 일반사무직 중 3년이상 7년 미만의 경력을 가진 일반사무직근 로자 10명을 연구 참여자로 선정하여 2회 이상 개별 심층 면담을 실시하였다. 자료 분석은 질적 연구 방법 중 현상학적 연구 방법으로 연구 참여자의 생생한 경험의 의 미를 밝히는데 초점을 두고 있는 지오르기(Giorgi)의 분석 방법을 활용하였다. 자료분 석 결과, 일반 사무직의 직무 경험에 관한 36개의 개념을 18개의 하위 범주로 구분한 결과 ①과다한 업무-역할분리, ②직무 인식의 괴리, ③상호 신뢰와 믿음, ④직무 정체 성 확립, ⑤정책수행과 평가 부담으로 등 5개의 범주를 도출하였다. 이러한 개념과 범 주들 간의 관계를 설명하는 중심 현상과 중심 현상이 발생하는 원인이 되는 인과적 조건과 현상에 영향을 주는 맥락적 현상을 도출하고 실천적 지침들을 제언하였다.
