Dance has historically been with the cultural development of mankind. In today's society, dance is an activity that requires the expression of artistic body as a superior hand in order to give the viewers an impression and fun. The beauty of human physical movements is not necessarily a high level of art. The physical characteristics of the dancer are affirmed and the body is painted. However, there is a clear risk of injury when a high level of martial arts movement appears to push the limits of expression. In Korea, dance started as an early education, and although it had a curriculum that trained professional dancers, there was a lack of research on injury and rehabilitation of dance activities. Limited experiences and perceptions of injury and rehabilitation were identified. Based on this, injuries continue to occur due to the lack of education on the environmental issues of dance activities. We also found that psychological anxiety during rehabilitation after injury can aggravate anxiety about another recurrent injury.

무용은 역사적으로 인류의 문화 발생과 함께 해왔다. 현대사회에서는 무용이 보는 활동으로서 무용을 표현하는 이들로 하여금 보는 이들에게 감동과 재미를 선사하게 하기 위하여 기예적인 신체의 표현을 더욱 월등한 수중으로 요구하 기도 한다. 인간의 신체적 움직임의 미를 반드시 난도 높은 기예로 표현하는 것만은 아니다. 무용가가 지닌 신체적 특징을 긍정화하여 신체로 그림을 그리듯 한다. 그러나 표현의 한계를 넘기 위해 높은 수준의 기예적 움직임이 나타날 때 분명히 부상의 위험을 감수한다. 국내에서 무용은 조기교육으로 시작하고 있으며 전문적인 무용가를 양성하는 교육과정을 지니 고 있음에도 이들의 무용 활동에 대한 부상 및 재활 활동 중 안전에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 이에 대한 기초적 연구로 연구 참여자를 대학 무용전공자로 제한하여 부상과 재활에 대한 경험과 인식을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 규명한 것은 무용 활동의 환경적인 문제 교육의 부재로 인해 부상은 지속적으로 발생하고 있다는 것이다. 그리고 부상 후 재활 과정에서 나타나는 심리적 불안이 또다른 재발적 부상에 대한 불안을 가중 할 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.
