The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development of demonstration competition through basic research for improving the evaluation method of Taekwondo demonstration competition. The Delphi method was used to collect and analyze data from 33 expert groups from athletes, leaders, and professors who were directly or indirectly involved in the Taekwondo demonstration. Three surveys were conducted, and 25 questions were extracted from seven areas including referee, self-defense, and creative poomsae. As a result of analyzing the importance of each area, 25 items such as 'referee education', 'practicalism of self-defense', 'definition of creative sculpting and improvement of scoring standards', 'help of assistant', and 'regulation of technical difficulty' are highly important. Appeared. Based on this, it would be necessary to improve the system to develop into a field of Taekwondo competition.

본 연구는 태권도 시범대회 평가방법 개선을 위한 기초 연구를 통해 시범대회 발전을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 델파이기법(Delphi method)을 활용하여 선수, 지도자, 대학교수 등 태권도 시범대회와 직․간접적으로 관련된 계층의 전문가 집단 33명을 선정하여 자료를 수집하고 분석 하였다. 총 3차에 걸쳐 조사가 진행되었으며 심판, 호신술, 창작 품새 등 7개의 영역에서 25문항이 추출되었다. 각 영역별로 중요도를 분석한 결과‘심판 교육’, ‘호신술의 실전성’, ‘창작격파의 정의와 채점기준 개선’, ‘보조자의 도움’, ‘기술 난이도 규정’ 등 25개의 항목이 중요도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 태권도 경기종목의 한 분야로 발전되기 위한 제도 개선이 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.
