[Purpose] Domestic women’s golf players are of interest to various mass media, but they lack information and research on which images they hope to evaluate and how they should be evaluated. [Method] Prior research and a second survey was conducted with 47 questions extracted from previous studies, and a third survey was conducted to verify the derived items. Thus, confirmatory factor analysis and reliability verification were performed based on the final image items. [Result] ‘Appearance’ was identified as the main item for evaluating the image, and also included ‘records’ and ‘techniques’, which are the results of the competition and objective indicators, which are the main items of the athlete’s evaluation. According to the characteristics of the golf exercise, ‘manner’, ‘communication’ and ‘Boast’ items were identified. It seems that fan and personal interpersonal relationships and pride as an athlete are also important. [Conclusion] A total of six factor structures were derived, and as a result, 31 items for evaluating the media image of Korean women’s professional golf players were constructed. As a result of reliability analysis by each factor, it was confirmed that there is no problem in reliability because it does not deviate from the level of .07.

[목적] 국내 여자골프선수들은 다양한 매스미디어의 흥미로운 관심의 대상이지만, 선수들 스스로 어떠한 이미지로 보이길 희망하며 어떠한 이미지로 평가해야 할지에 대한 정보와 연구가 부족하다. [방법] 선행 연구와 1차 설문조사 결과를 통해 추출된 47개 문항으로 2차 설문조사를 실시하였고, 도출된 항목을 검증하는 3차 조사를 실시하였다. 이 에 최종 이미지 항목을 토대로 확인적 요인분석 및 신뢰도 검증을 분석하였다. [결과] ‘외모’가 이미지를 평가하는 주 요 항목으로 확인되었으며, 과거 운동선수 평가의 주요 항목인 경기 결과물이자 객관적 지표라 볼 수 있는 ‘기록’과 ‘기술’ 역시 포함되었다. 골프 운동의 특성에 맞게 ‘매너’, ‘소통’, ‘과시’ 항목이 확인되었다. 이는 팬 및 개인적인 대 인관계와 운동선수로써의 자긍심 또한 중요하게 인식된다고 보여진다. [결론] 총 6개의 요인구조를 도출하였고 결과 적으로는 한국여자프로골프 선수들의 미디어 이미지를 평가할 수 있는 31개의 항목을 구성하였다. 각 요인별 신뢰도 분석 결과 .07의 수준을 벗어나지 않아 신뢰도에 문제가 없는 것으로 확인하였다.
