Noting director Kim Myung󰠏joon's documentary film (2006), the school discussed the daily lives of Chosǒn school students in the movie, the aspects of the use of bilingualism, and the diversity of cultural identity. contains the life and growth of the students who spent three years at the Chosun Elementary and Middle School in Hokkaido, making it a good source for understanding the reality of Chosǒn schools and their daily lives, thoughts and culture. While interpreting the epic and major scenes of the movie, paying attention to the director's intention to direct the film. In particular, the dual language usage and ‘management of identity’ were highlighted and discussed as their diverse and flexible way of being. In line with the Chosǒn School's education policy, which is now shifting to multi󰠏ethnic and multi󰠏cultural symbiotic education, the students were able to use life as a focal point to show diversity in the Japanese society in which each person decides and manages his or her own way of existence. This phenomenon is understood as a kind of resilient and existential “warfare” to allow Chosǒn school students to live flexibly in the Japanese society, which has always been exposed to institutional oppression and daily violence in the Japanese society as a national minority.

본고는 김명준 감독의 다큐멘터리 영화 <우리학교>(2006)에 주목하여 영화에 담긴 조선학교 학생들의 일상생활과 이중언어 사용의 양상, 문화정체성의 다양성을 논의하였다. <우리학교>는 김명준 감독이 3년간 홋카이도 조선초중고급학교에 머물면서 취재한 학생들의 생활과 성장과정을 담고 있어서 조선학교의 실상과 학생들의 일상, 사고, 문화 등을 파악할 수 있는 좋은 자료가 된다. 본고는 영화 연출자(감독)의 연출의도에 유의하면서 영화의 서사와 주요 장면을 해석했다. 특히 조선학교 학생들에게서 볼 수 있는 이중언어 사용과 ‘정체성의 관리’ 양상을 부각시키고, 이를 그들의 다양하고도 유연한 존재방식으로서 논의하였다. 현재 다민족･다문화 공생교육으로 전환해가는 조선학교의 교육방침과도 맞물리면서, 학생들은 학교에서의 생활을 구심점으로 삼아 일본사회 속에서 각자가 자신의 존재방식을 결정하고 유연하게 관리해가는 다양성을 보여주고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이 같은 현상은 민족적 소수자로서 항시 일본사회의 제도적 억압과 일상적 폭력에 노출되어 오면서도 조선학교 학생들이 이미 영주의 땅이 된 일본사회에서 유연하게 살아가기 위한 일종의 탄력적이면서 존재론적인 ‘전술’로서 이해된다.
