This paper focuses on two opposing concepts in the word preaching as a sacred performance. It is an interest in the realm of holiness and the art of performance. And this expression also means that the word of God is communicated through human preachers. Therefore, this paper first focuses on the various forms of communication that are revealed in the performances. Identify the characteristics of relational means of communication, such as language, music, drama (performance), and identify the connections with preaching. Finding the continuity and differentiation between the two companies is the first task of the research. Through this process, I would like to grasp the characteristics of communication as a sacred performance and to find out what it should be. Sermons ultimately have a reason for existence in proclaiming the sacred word of the gospel. However, due to the inherent nature of the sermon delivered to man through man, full communication cannot be achieved without studying this part. In particular, understanding the communication situation of today is the most important task for smoother communication. With this need, I will be interested in two areas at the same time, and look at how to persuade the world in the proper harmony of these two areas.

본 논문은 ‘거룩한 공연으로서의 설교’라고 하는 문구 속에 담긴 두 개의 상반된 개념에 주목한다. 그것은‘거룩’이라는 신앙의 영역과 ‘공연’이라고 하는 예술(세속)의 영역에 대한 관심이다. 이 표현은 하나님의 말씀이 인간 설교자를 통하여 전달된다는 의미이기도 하다. 따라서 여기에서는 공연으로 드러나는 다양한 소통의 양식들에 먼 저 관심을 가진다. 언어, 음악, 드라마(공연)와 같은 인간관계를 기초로 이루어지는 소 통 수단들의 특성을 파악하고 설교와의 연관성을 파악한다. 그리고 이 둘 사의의 연 속성과 차별성의 파악을 연구의 첫 번째 과제로 한다. 이러한 과정을 통해서 거룩한 공연으로서의 설교가 가지는 소통으로서의 특성을 파악하고 나아가 선포로서의 설교 가 지향해야 할 것을 찾는다. 설교는 궁극적으로 거룩한 복음의 말씀을 선포하는데 그 존재 이유가 있다. 하지만 사람을 통하여 사람에게 전달되는 설교 고유의 속성상 관계성에 대한 실질적 연구가 병행되지 않고는 온전한 소통을 기대할 수 없을 것이 다. 특별히 오늘 이 시대의 소통 상황에 대한 이해는 대화 주체들간의 더욱 원할한 만남을 위해서 무엇보다 중요한 작업이 될 것이다. 이러한 필요를 가지고 출발선에 서서 인간의 영역과 신앙의 영역을 동시에 바라보면서 연구를 이어가려고 한다. 그리 고 원할한 설교 전달을 위해서는 반드시 병행하는 이 두 영역이 적절한 조화를 이루 면서 어떻게 세상을 설득해 갈 것인지를 살피는데 그 목적을 두고자 한다.
