According to the 2015 Census Bureau, Korea’s religious population is 43.9%. This is a 9% decrease compared to 2005, which means that a country where half of the population was a religious population has changed into a country with a new majority of non-religious people in 10 years. The more serious problem is that this post-religion occurs in young people. The decrease in school-age and religious populations, and the decrease in the number of church schools as the next generation of Korean churches and the admissions resources of the seminaries are serious risk factors for theological colleges. If the church is not much different from a theological college, if both are communities of understanding God, the problem we face now is a common task that the theological college and the Korean church must solve together. This study proposes strengthening churches through practicality enhancement, holistic management through strengthening integration and interdisciplinary, school and church linkages that come from strengthening community as the common task of the theological college and the Korean church. Reinforcement of practicality and integration introduced both curriculum programs and extra-curriculum programs in detail, the interdisciplinary linkage of community reinforcement was Bi- Vocational EduSystem, 7-year curriculum, and school linkage was linked to theological colleges and local school linkage. The church association proposed internships, ministry fairs, and social cooperatives. This effort which unites theological colleges and churches in Korea is admirable but is in God’s help that makes it possible.

2015년 통계청 조사에 따르면 한국의 종교인구는 43.9%다. 이는 2005년과 비교할 때 9% 감소한 것으로 당시 종교인구가 과반수를 넘 었는데 10년 새 오히려 비종교인이 과반수이상을 차지하는 나라로 바 뀐 것을 의미한다. 더 심각한 문제는 이런 탈종교화 현상이 청(소)년들 에게서 일어난다는 점이다. 학령인구와 종교인구의 감소 그리고 한국 교회의 다음세대이자 신학대학(원)의 입학자원인 교회학교 학생 수의 감소는 신학대학의 심각한 위기요인이다. 교회가 신학대학과 별 차이 가 없다면, 양자가 모두 하나님이해 공동체라면 현재 직면하고 있는 문 제는 신학대학과 한국교회가 같이 풀어가야 할 공동의 과제다. 본 연구는 신학대학과 한국교회의 공동과제로 실천성 강화를 통한 교회강화, 통합성 강화를 통한 전인적 관리, 공동체성 강화를 통한 학 제연계·학교연계·교회연계를 제안했다. 실천성 강화와 통합성 강화 는 각각 교과 프로그램과 비교과 프로그램을 구체적으로 소개했고, 공 동체성 강화의 학제연계는 Bi-Vocational EduSystem, 7년 연계 교과 과정을, 학교연계는 신학대학간 연계, 지역학교 연계를, 교회연계는 인턴십, 사역박람회, 사회적 협동조합을 제안했다. 신학대학과 한국교회 가 연합하는 이러한 노력도 가상하나 그 노력을 가능케 하는 건 하나님의 도우심에 있다.
