This article is about the spiritual formation process of North Korean defector women. North Korean defector women have the task of forming a new identity and social integration as they settle in South Korea. Therefore, this study aims to make North Korean defector women achieve social integration through spiritual self-transcendence and form self-identity through the integration of spiritual life. First, through literature studies, I found that self-identity and self-transcendence are related to the relationship between transcendental God and the other, the balance of centripetal force and centrifugal force, and the harmony of basic human desires. Based on this, I interviewed six women of North Korean defectors. Through this study, I learned the characteristics of the spiritual formation process of North Korean defector women. First, North Korean defector women meet with the transcendental God through others. Second, in order for North Korean defector women to form self-identity and self-transcendence, there must be an environment in which North Korean culture can be reproduced and an environment in which South Korean culture can be learned and communicated. Third, leaders who help North Korean defectors form spirituality should resemble the incarnation of Jesus Christ. Fourth, North Korean defector women should be given full care. Fifth, as a result of spiritual formation, these women should be oriented toward life for others. Therefore, based on this, I suggest spiritual education for North Korean defector women. The purpose of education is to: “Women discover the purpose and meaning of their lives, communicate with God and their neighbors, and live out God's love for others in Jesus Christ, who came as the Other.” Also, I present the student understanding, the teacher, the community of education, and the curriculum.

본 글은 북한이탈주민 여성의 영성형성과정에 관한 논문이다. 북한이탈주민 여성은 남한 땅에 정착하면서 새롭게 정체성을 형성하고 사회통합을 해야 하는 과제를 가지고 있다. 본 연구는 영성의 자기초월적인 특징과삶의 통합의 특징을 자기초월과 정체성형성과 연결하여 북한이탈주민들이영성을 통해 정체성을 형성하고 사회통합을 이루도록 하였다. 먼저 문헌연구를 통해 자기정체성과 자기초월에는 초월자와 타자와의 관계성, 그리고 내면의 구심성과 원심성, 인간의 기본욕구의 조화와 관계가 있는 것을보았다. 이를 토대로 여성 명의 북한이탈주민 여성과 인터뷰를 하여 질적연구를 하였다. 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 북한이탈주민 여성들의 영성형성과정의 특징을 알 수 있었다. 첫 번째, 북한이탈주민 여성은 타인을 통해서 초월자하나님을 만난다. 두 번째, 북한이탈주민 여성들이 자기정체성을 형성하고자기초월을 하기 위해서는 북한문화를 재현할 수 있는 상황과 남한문화를습득하고 배우고 소통할 수 있는 환경이 함께 있어야 하는 것이다. 세 번째, 북한이탈주민 여성들이 영성을 형성하기 위해서 도움을 주는 지도자들은 성육신하신 예수 그리스도의 모습으로 나아가야 할 것이다. 네 번째, 북한이탈주민 여성들에게 전인적인 돌봄을 해주어야 할 것이다. 다섯 번째, 영성형성의 결과 타인을 향한 삶을 지향하도록 해야 할 것이다. 이를 기초로 북한이탈주민 여성의 영성교육을 제시하였다. “여성이 타자로 오신 예수 그리스도 안에서 삶의 목적과 의미를 발견하고 하나님과이웃과 소통하며 타자를 향하신 하나님의 사랑을 실천하도록 한다.”는 것을 교육목적으로 삼아 교육 대상이해, 교사, 교육의 장, 그리고 교육과정을제시하였다.
