This study is an attempt to utilize the results of research on Korean-Japanese language behavior in education. Through the case study of a “Japanese-Korean Cross-Cultural Communication” class, I tried to suggest a method of analyzing behavior that could be used for the education of improved Cross-cultural understanding. The behavior analysis method that is proposed in this study is based on the DIE method, Ro Juhyoun (2014a), and Brown & Levinson(1987). The method of analyzing behavior consists of the following three steps. step 1. “ Objective description” “interpretation” “evaluation”’ step 2. Exploration of Behavioral Output Process step 3. Point summary (characteristic / point of understanding) Through this educational application process, the following were presented. (1) The terminology used in the previous studies need to be reinterpreted and rearranged in terms that can be easily understood by learners. (2) It is necessary to add to a database, the results of the previous studies as significant educational material. (3) Further research is needed to identify the cause of the differences between Korea and Japan, which is difficult to identify with previous studies. (4) It is necessary to broaden the scope of the study of language behavior and to study it in terms of a chain of actions.

본 연구는 한일언어행동에 관한 연구 성과를 교육에 활용하기 위한 시도로서, 「한일이문화커뮤니케이션」수업사례 보고를 통해, 이문화이해교육에 활용가능한 행동의 분석방법을 제안하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 행동의 분석방법은, DIE방법에 盧妵鉉(2014a)과 브라운&레빈슨(1987)의 이론을 도입한 것으로, 다음의 3단계로 구성하였다. step1. 「객관적 기술」 「해석」 「평가」 step2. 행동 산출프로세스의 탐색step3. 포인트 정리 (행동의 특징/이해의 포인트) 이러한 교육적 활용 과정을 통해, (1) 선행연구에서 사용되어 온 전문용어를 학습자들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 용어로 재해석・재정리, (2) 선행연구의 성과를 교육 자료로 데이터베이스화, (3) 선행연구결과로 밝히기 어려운 한일 간 차이의 원인을 규명하기 위한 추가조사연구, (4) 언어행동의 연구대상의 폭을 넓히고, 행동의 연쇄라는 관점에서 추가 연구 등이 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 연구의 관점 및 방향은, 사회언어학 뿐 만 아니라 이문화커뮤니케이션 연구 및 교육 분야에도 유효할 것이며, 향후 과제로 삼고자 한다.
