This thesis studied the aspect of Korean ancient foundation myths understood and recognized by Japanese through ‘Manseonsa’(Man churia and Joseon alignment theory) and ‘Ilseondongjo theory’ (Japan-Joseon alignment theory) ‘Manseonsa’scholars considered the myth of ancient Joseon and Buyeo.Gogurrye as legend and that it was written later likely in Gogurye and Gorye dynasties. This were found in the fact that Especially legend of Dangun had not been mentioned in Weseo and Samguksagi as had been cited in Samgukyusa. This was same in Joseonsa as well. In the meantime, Ilseondongjo theory scholars idendified Dangun to Susanooh. Even scholars denying alignment theory explained Susanooh was descended Susimori aggressively and connected the progenitor of Joseon (Silla) with Japanese. This theory of denying Dangun and distorting Dangun was widely spread to the public by Japanese history textbook as well as media. Also the point of views of Japanese both in Manseonsa and Ilseondongjo theory about Korean ancient fundatioon myth tried to include our history to Manchurian history and Japanese history, which reflected the stagnat of ion of Korean history and the ideology of Japanese emperor.

본 글은 ‘만선사’와 ‘일선동조론’을 중심으로 한국 고대 건국신화를 일제강점기 일본인들이 이해하고 인식한 측면을 살펴본 것이다. ‘만선사’가들은 고조선과 부여․고구려 건국신화를 ‘전설’로 보고 후대, 특히 고구려나 고려시대에 창작된 것으로 보았다. 특히 ‘단군전설’은 『삼국유사』에 인용된 『魏書』와 『삼국사기』에도 단군신화에 대한 언급이 없는 데서 찾았다. 이것은 ‘만선사’ 뿐만 아니라 ‘조선사’도 마찬가지였다. 한편 일선동조론적 입장에서는 단군을 스사노오와 동일시하였다. 동조론을 부정하는 입장에서도 스사노오가 강림한 소시모리를 적극적으로 비정하였고 조선(신라)의 시조를 일본인과 연결시키고 있다. 단군부정론과 단군왜곡론은 역사교과서 뿐만 아니라 언론을 통해서도 대중에게 확산되었다. 이와 같은 한국고대 건국신화에 대한 ‘만선사’적 시각과 일선동조론적 시각은 한국사의 停滯性과 일본의 천황 이데올로기가 투영된 것이었다.
