These days, local governments hold crowded events like festivals, concerts, athletics. In order to the participants are satisfied with the event, the most important thing is that the event must be held safely and conveniently. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is mediation effect of crime victim between crime prevention environment and satisfaction of event. According to this study, the factors affecting the crime victim and event satisfaction were the “activity support”. In other words, it was found that the more convenient the movement of the participant in the event place and the better the arrangement of the event facilities, the less the crime victim and the higher the satisfaction of the event. This is because it is easy for sexual harassment and violence to occur in congested areas, and congestion is suppressed if the movement is convenient. Therefore, it is very likely to reduce the crime victim by conveniently setting the entrance or movement of the place. On the other hand, there was no significant relationship between crime victim and event satisfaction at the event place. Based on this study, it is possible to suggest that the event places are designed by CPTED theory to prevent crime. And especially, the important factor of CPTED is activity support. And also, the CPTED that promotes activity to facilitate the movement at the event place is more important than police patrol.

최근 우리 사회에서는 축제, 음악회, 운동경기 등 지역별로 다양한 다중운집행사가 개최되고 있다. 행사의 성공적 개최를 위해서는 무엇보다 행사가 안전하고 사고 없이 개최되어 참가자의 만족도가 높은 행사가 되어야 한다. 기존 지역 행사 만족도 연구들은 지역 행사의 범죄예방 환경 및 범죄피해 요소를 고려하지 못했다는 한계점이 있었다. 이에 이 연구에서는 대구시의 치맥축제와 신천돗자리축제에 참여한 200명의 시민들을 대상으로 조사된 설문자료를 사용하여 행사장의 범죄예방환경 인식이 행사장에서의 직/간접적인 범죄피해경험과 행사만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이와 동시에 직/간접적인 범죄피해경험의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 분석결과 범죄예방 환경 인식은 직/간접적인 범죄피해경험과 행사만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 특히 범죄예방 환경 인식 중 활동성 증대는 일관되게 범죄피해와 만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 파악되었다. 이 연구결과에 기초할 때, 다중운집행사장을 설계함에 있어 참가자의 이동이 편리하고 행사시설물이 잘 배치되어 있을수록 범죄피해가 줄어들고, 행사만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 혼잡한 곳에서 성범죄나 다툼이 발생하기 쉽기에 이동이 편리하면 혼잡한 상황을 억제하기 때문이다. 따라서 행사장의 출입이나 이동을 편리하게 구성하는 것은 범죄피해를 감소시킬 가능성이 크다. 한편, 행사장에서의 범죄피해와 행사만족도의 유의미한 영향관계는 없었으며 매개효과 역시 나타나지 않았다. 이 연구결과는 행사장의 범죄피해를 줄이고 만족도 높은 행사가 되기 위해서는 행사장에 인력을 통한 직접적인 순찰보다는 오히려 행사장에서 이동이 편리하도록 활동성을 증진시키는 것이 필요함을 제시한다.
