The subject of this study is the international distribution contract of Chapter 5, Part E, Book IV of the DCFR, focusing mainly on the obligations of the suppliers and the main contents of this study are as follows: First, it reviews the scope and legal nature of international distribution contracts under the DCFR Second, it reviews the supplier’s pre-contractual information duty, co-operation obligations and confidentiality obligations under the DCFR General Rules. Third, it examines the product supply obligation, the supplier's obligation to provide information during the performance, warning by supplier of decreased supply capacity, the advertising materials obligation and reputation of the product maintenance obligation under the DCFR Fourth, through the consideration of the obligations of the suppliers above, this paper describes the recommendations for practitioners who use DCFR as the governing law, notes the limitations of this paper, and discusses future research tasks.

본 연구의 대상은 DCFR상 제4권 IV장 E편의 판매점계약편으로 주로 공급자의 의무를 중심으로 고찰하며, 본 연구의 주요내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, DCFR상 판매점계약의 적용범위와 법적성질을 살펴본다. 둘째, DCFR상 판매점계약편 총칙상 공급자의 사전정보제공의무, 협력의무 및 비밀유지의무를 살펴본다. 셋째, DCFR상 판매점계약편의 공급자의 일반규정상 의무의 내용인 제품공급의무, 이행기간동안 공급자의 정보제공의무, 공급물량 감소에 대한 통지의무, 광고의무와 평판유지의무에 관하여 나누어 고찰한다. 넷째, 이상 공급자의 의무관련 내용의 고찰을 통해 실무자들이 DCFR을 준거법으로 지정하는 경우의 권고사항과 본 논문이 가지는 한계를 적시함과 동시에 향후 연구과제를 논술하고 있다.
