Today, our church is conducting various research under the themes of immigrants, multiculturalism, multicultural families, and married women. In this context, teenagers from multicultural families face psychological and social conflicts due to the fact that they are merely multicultural. The study seeks to explore the conflict experience they face through meetings with young multicultural children who have experienced conflict as part of efforts to resolve these questions This study was conducted on the teenagers from multicultural families to confirm the meaning and essence of conflict experience of the teenagers from multicultural families. In addition, participants of the research were organized using intentional sampling methods to select teenagers who experienced psychosocial conflicts among the teenagers from multicultural families. Consequently, research participants consisted of 8 women and 7 men whose foreign mothers are from Japan(3), Philippines(4), China(3), Vietnam(4), and Thai(1). The research was conducted using phenomenological research method and the contents of the interview were analyzed using the data analysis method of Collage (1978). The main topics of the study were as follows: fear of exposure due to discrimination, hiding identity due to the perspective of multicultural families, conflicting with national identity, supporting of surrounding people for their conflicts, redefining conflicts positively, and trying to control conflicts. The conclusions revealed in the interview are as follows. First, psychological and social conflicts begin due to prejudice against multicultural families of Koreans. Second, the role of an unbiased support system in resolving psychological and social conflicts among multicultural youths is important. Third, it is important to take active measures against foreigners to resolve psychological and social conflicts among multicultural youths. The results of this study showed that the church's practical measures need the implementation of understanding and awareness education for church members, multicultural education involving pastors and teachers, reception education of multiculture and peer group counseling for sunday school students, and the faith education for strengthening the ability of foreign mothers.

오늘날 우리 교회는 이주민, 다문화, 다문화가정, 결혼이주여성 등의 주제로 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이와 맥락을 같이하여 다문화가정 청소년은 단지 다문화가정이라는 사실에 기인한 심리사회적 갈등에 직면하게 된다. 본 연구는 이러한 의문점을 해소하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 갈등을 경험한 다문화 가정 청소년과의 면담을 통해 그들이 직면한 갈등경험을 탐색하고자 한다. 다문화가정 청소년이 직면한 갈등경험의 의미와 본질을 확인하기 위해서 다문화가정 청소년을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 더불어 다문화가정 청소년 중 심리사회적 갈등을 경험한 청소년을 선정하기 위해 의도적 표집방법으로 연구 참여자를 구성하였다. 연구 참여자는 여성 8인, 남성 7인이며, 모의 출신국은 일본 3인, 필리핀 4인, 중국 3인, 베트남 4인, 태국 1인으로 구성되었다. 연구방법은 현상학적 연구방법으로 연구가 진행되었으며 꼴라이지의 분석방법을 활용해서 면담내용을 분석하였다. 연구결과 드러난 대 주제는 차별로 인해 노출에 두려움을 가짐, 다문화가정에 관한 시선으로 인해 정체성을 숨김, 국가정체성으로 갈등함, 갈등에 주변사람이 지지해 줌, 갈등을 긍정적으로 재정의함, 갈등을 통제하려고 노력함 등으로 나타났다. 면담을 통해 드러난 결론을 구체적으로 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째 한국인의 다문화가정에 대한 편견으로 인해 심리사회적 갈등이 시작된다. 둘째 다문화가정 청소년의 심리사회적 갈등해소에 편견이 없는 지지체계의 역할이 중요하다. 셋째 다문화가정 청소년의 심리사회적 갈등해소에 외국인 모의 능동적인 대처가 중요하다. 이러한 연구결과에 근거한 교회의 실천방안은 일반 성도를 대상으로 하는 각 나라의 이해 및 인식 교육, 목회자 및 교사가 참여하는 다문화 교육의 필요성, 교회학교 학생을 대상으로 하는 다문화 수용 및 또래상담 교육실시, 외국인 모의 부모 역량강화를 위한 신앙교육의 실시 등으로 나타났다.
